You just explained it. Either she agrees or move on. We can't always get what we want, and you can't convince someone to want what you want. I'm 59 and life is different for me now, but the world is a little different too, in the sense that men are starting to figure out that marriage is a terrible idea for them. Of course, women want it. Why wouldn't they? If you find one that thinks like you do, cool. Otherwise, live the way you want. If you cave in, you'll be miserable. If you stand by your p…

The poster literally said he wanted to commit. How did you come to the conclusion that he doesn't?

Most women secretly "settle" for their partner, and will use any excuse possible to get out of sex.

If women knew what it took to run the world, they'd be running the world. The reason they're not is that they sit back and let men create the world in which they live, and have the audacity to criticize us without lifting a finger to contribute. They don't want to win, they want to find winners, to quote the dearly departed Patrice O'Neal.

Perhaps.

The woman is reportedly married to a Celtics Sr. Vice President, so the "power dynamic" is not obvious.

I enjoy showing anyone with a chip as large as feminism on their shoulder how dumb they are. I'm 58 and will never give up the fight.

It wouldn't be worth it. He'd have to prove what she said hurt his career, and I doubt it did.

That's a sad world view, and definitely not supported by data.

Since I'm not part of those groups, I'm not repeating anything. If it's drivel to you, that's fine. The world needs childish people, I suppose. Obviously, based on some of the comments, it rings very true for some men. We're used to being dismissed so your comments are predictable and boring.

So, the men who built all civilizations are too stupid and lack discipline? That's patently ridiculous.

It seems that you don't actually want an answer, since you're having both sides of the conversation. I made my proposal. If you don't have the level of reading comprehension to understand it, sorry.

Men are guilted into marriage, especially if they want children.

What a useless reply. Legal cases don't support your childish ideas. It's sad. :-D
/r/MensRights11/09/22 04:44 PM

That's hilarious. So a man can have sex with a woman who doesn't want to have sex with him? That's just stupid.

Great job oversimplifying. It's a wonderful, low-level tactic that I'm sure works on your friends. You might know the law better than I do, but you obviously don't know the law better than lawyers do. That's where I got my information, from articles that female divorce lawyers wrote about the unfairness of divorce laws. Please tell me where you got your information, if not just from your imagination. I explained the difference between married and unmarried. Reading comprehension will help you. T…

Of course there are. Women are never gold-diggers. Women never cheat. 1 of 4 marriages isn't sexless. Women never assault men. This is childish logic. Who has the financial and legal burden under penalty of being jailed in divorces, men or women?
/r/MensRights11/09/22 03:28 PM
1

Are you from America? If so, do you really not know how the law works? I'll indulge this willful ignorance. Two women have a child. One of them is married. One of them is not. Do they have the same outcomes in court? In the eyes of the court, the married woman is more legitimate than the unmarried one. Anecdotally, for decades, I've heard unmarried describe feelings of being invisible in society. Women do have more rights than men. There are a few examples, but all I need is one to prove my poin…

Not sure. I haven't looked that up. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, since Feminism lied to women and told them they don't need families.

Just because you don't like a fact, it's still a fact. Do married women have more legal rights than unmarried women? It's an obvious fact.

Thank you for the information. She was convicted after pleading guilty ahead of trial to two counts of second-degree falsely reporting an incident and one count of interfering with police. She got sentenced to 3 years in prison, with the last 2 suspended, then 3 years probation. Again, the damage to an innocent man's life is not matched by the crime, but this is better than nothing, which is the standard.
/r/MensRights09/09/22 05:40 PM

The law suit is impractical and expensive. Also, the damage is already done. If you can find cases where women in America were arrested or jailed for false reports, I'd be very interested in seeing that.
/r/MensRights09/09/22 04:51 PM

It's only perjury if you are proven to lie during a trial. Show me the penalty for false accusations.

This is an easy one. Stop spending money on dates. I stopped years ago, and still get what I want from women. I schedule the first 3 dates at 3:00 PM, between lunch and dinner, and we meet at a coffee shop. That way, if I don't like her, I've only spent 5 or 10 dollars to find out. To be clear, I'm 58, 5'11", and fat. The only thing in my favor is that I'm reasonably attractive. Women don't stop in their tracks for me, but they're not repulsed eaither. On paper, you'd assume I couldn't possibly …

America, for all its flaws, was partly founded on due process, but let a damsel in distress bat her eyes, and down goes an innocent man in flames.

I don't disagree with your sentiments. The point of this post is in line with what I perceive is the point of this group, and that's men's rights. From that perspective, this legal hypocrisy is untenable if equality is the goal.

Where in my post are women blamed? There isn't one word that assigns blame. It's just a fact.

Privilege is invisible to those who have it, so I'm not surprised you don't agree with my argument. Men get my point, and I'm satisfied with that.

I'm waiting to see women complain about the unfairness of these things.

Yes, I learned about POF in 2009, and it was definitely a hook-up app. By the time I started using it in 2016, it had changed. If Tinder is no longer a hook-up app, that's cool. I've only ever heard it referred to that way.
/r/MensRights20/08/22 09:59 PM

I said in my post that I haven't used hook-up apps yet, but I'm toying with the idea of trying Tinder the next time I want a woman. I've been a serial monogamist most of my life, with few exceptions. I'm thinking it's time for a hit it and quit it approach. I must admit, I put almost no effort in now. For example, I don't buy dinners for the first few dates. But everything I usually do leads to a relationship, albeit mostly short relationships. So, I'm interested in the idea of trying something …

I mostly use Plenty of Fish. It's one of the very few I've found that's free and lets you text women. Most of them are free but you must pay to communicate. By the way, women on on app are almost always on several, so I'll stick with the free one. 😃

My profile is essentially the same as it ever was. I've changed a few photos, and the photos are psychological warfare also - along with the brief text. :-D I don't see myself as managing a long game. I get with a chick for as long as I'm interested. It ends. I take a break to reset. I'm back at it. I have no investment in how long the relationship is. 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years. It's all the same to me. I'm not ambitious enough to type out the whole strategy right here and now, but it's really …

I just learned a bunch of new statistics regarding dating. I had no idea how well I was doing. According to data from various dating apps, 80% of women want 20% of men. You know, over 6 figures in income, at least 6 feet tall, and above average looks, which includes an athletic physique. Women swipe right (to indicate interest) only 5% of the time. By comparison, men swipe right 50% of the time. Yet, a significant percentage of men never receive even one message from a woman. Here's where it get…

I don't fully understand that. Who is asking to be treated like one of the boys but respected like the girls?
/r/MensRights20/08/22 07:46 AM

I was born in 1964, and came up with feminism. It was presented as equal rights for women, and I agreed with that. I still do. The movement has been overtaken by insanity, and I no longer support it.

I'm glad you didn't disagree that you're a racist. Bye, racist. I'm done with you.

The word modern is interesting. It was coined in the 1500s. If the question is about current men, their biggest issue is blaming women for their troubles. Women are exactly what they've always been, except for more equality in the last 50 years. Men need to be men and do a better job at understanding women. Society was built for women by men. Same as it ever was.
/r/MensRights19/08/22 06:00 AM

As I watch more and more podcasts of women talking to women, I see more of "no matter what, it's men's fault" logic. I have no idea about this film. But doesn't the market determine its value? Also, women make up to 80% of the consumer decisions, and there are more women than men. Obviously, women didn't support this film.

It seems to follow the logic, which is my only real point.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 03:28 AM

Wow, you really know me. I don't know what your point is. I don't know what you're on about, and since you can't be civil, I'm done interacting with you.

Excellent. Anything else?

Then why do police who are armed get away with killing an unarmed person? Can't someone just use the feared for my life gambit?
/r/MensRights17/08/22 08:05 PM

Delusion is tricky. The GSM5 parameters for it don't fully encompass gender identity, but I think for the most part you're onto something. For example, people who identify as Jesus Christ, run into some issues.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 08:03 PM
2

Agreed.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 08:00 PM
3

That's why I'm exploring the logic. It opens up more than people intend, in my opinion.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 08:00 PM
2

I understand most of what you're saying, but to say that's not how gender identity works, is to neglect how many times I've heard activists describe how it works. I've heard it said dozens of times that when you say you're something, you're that thing.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 07:58 PM
2

I presume the same.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 07:54 PM

It doesn't make sense to me that a man who decides to identify as a woman is surprised by any violence, since men deal with more violence than women do.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 07:54 PM

Fair points.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 07:51 PM
2

Spot on.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 12:10 PM
6

Exactly. Sometimes, I find it very helpful to reverse engineer something to better understand it. All I did was follow the logic to a possible conclusion.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 12:06 PM
3

Good luck with what?
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:58 AM
3

Not according to activists I've heard. If you identify as something, you are that thing, according to them. And, you've always been that thing. I've seen so many conversations from activists, and this is their core belief. My question tests the logic of that belief.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:52 AM
1

It's already hypothetical. Why not entertain it? Why can't questions be asked?
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:48 AM
1

I agree, but that's secondary to the point.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:46 AM
