Evolution has made women the gatekeepers of sex. This makes perfect sense to me given the potential significant changes sex can mean for them. However, men are the gatekeepers of relationships. So much so, that an unmarried woman has fewer legal rights than a married woman does. Men literally legitimize women in society. Unfortunately, when a man marries a woman, he now places his entire existence on a bet that he'll lose 50% of the time. Ironically, it's not men who are ending marriages and breaking up families. Women file for divorce roughly 70% of the time. College educated women push that number to 90%.

Gentlemen, why are we participating in an institution that incentivizes and rewards women to divorce men? Women have wielded the power of withholding sex since the beginning of time. And again, that's fine. There are simple ways men can deal with that on a day to day basis. On a grander scale, men have the option to withhold relationships. I think it's time for men to stop getting married until the legal system makes changes that reflect the changes in society. 

Women wanted equal rights. They now have more rights than men, but men have a power we haven't exercised. Just like women withhold sex to increase their perceived value, men must now withhold marriage to balance the scales. Gentlemen, what say you?
