Right! And some women consistently pick trash men so you might still be trash OP. (But believe whatever helps you sleep at night!)

Idk what comment you're reading but calling your post a shit post is not complaining. It's saying that what you said is SOOO stupid that it can't possibly be real, that it was made up to get a rise out of people. However, after looking at you (short) post history it's probably real amd you're obviously fucked up in the head. Have fun fucking your cousin, having babies in Thailand and dealing with your inevitable STDs.

I welcome all of your FRs. Since TRP has grown there is such a wide range in the experience of users here and I would suspect it trends significantly to younger guys with little to no RP experience. The guys who know KNOW that what your saying is entirely possible and to someone new it seems straight out of a movie. Or you get the guys that "tried" TRP and gave up but still linger here and try to call BS because they couldn't get any traction.

Agreed, can't know if OPs account is true but that applies to basically any FR. Not sure I really get your analogy but it seems like you're saying it's more of an art than an equation. While that may be mostly true, using a formulaic approach can really help a newbie along and pin point issues. I started by reading The Game by Neil Strauss and Mystery Method. I used lines taken directly from The Game when I was out learning this stuff and didn't have confidence in my own words yet AND I also mad…

Damn, everyone hating on the FR. I liked it. Too many "know-it-alls" in here. Timmy tween writing that he woulda bla bla bla. Good FR, everyone has their own way of doing things and there is no "set way" just what works for you. Any guys who are just learning this stuff can pick out some good tidbits from this post. The big one for me was the first kiss. So many guys let that little initial rejection ruin them. Maybe she wasn't feeling it yet, maybe you came on wrong or maybe she was just seeing…

I just want to say that I appreciate that you took time to write this and I hope that every new TRP member reads this post! You got the message about improving yourself and not focusing on women. I bet you're a totally different person, and better, than you used to be. You are obviously in a place where you can be picky about the women you want in your life instead of the old you just hoping for basically any woman to accept you. Most guys come here looking for tips to get chicks. "I did this th…

Stop taking everything in TRP as gospel, black and white. I used to be similar to you, playing out scenarios in my head and seeing how things will play out BUT you literally do not have enough information to make those calls. The world is in shades of gray and you have to go out and experience it to learn the nuances. You need to figure out what you want and figure out what things lead to that. Saying you want sex is useless unless you're simply going to pay for it. To have sex you need a girl t…

Wow, so many fucking butt hurt comments. I'm American born and raised and I fully agree with OP. All the whiners "you can't generalize ALL of us" but Americans do this every day. I bet you guys go onto the women's sub and comment "not all men" too. Fucking crying ass bitches. It's a stereotype for a reason. Bet most commenters haven't been out of their state let alone the country. OP, to me, your post highlights the problem a lot of guys have with TRP. They treat every word as gospel with no roo…

Legit, read the book The Game. Now, don't be a spaz and use most of the information in that book because a lot of it outdated. You need to take a lot of the underlying theories and learn how to adapt them to yourself. It takes time and practice. Of course, also read the side bar here. The basis of a lot of it besides improving your life outside of women is just getting comfortable talking to people ans being in different situations. I've met Neil Strauss, good guy, and his uncle is friends with …

I'd say it's not so much the suit but standing out in you're environment reasonably (probably not gonna wear a suit at the beach) and how you present yourself. When I used to go out the to bars in my small town (~10k pop.) I would dress up like a step or 2 above jeans and t-shirt which is what every other guy wore. Definitely helps. The real test it always to go do it and adjust as necessary.

I've had moments like that and, strangely enough, more at a later stage in life. If I ever decided to go through with it nobody would ever know. It hasn't happened because it's typically temporary and I've built up good enough coping mechanisms over the years. Younger people may not know quite how to cope or what it looks like to make it through and see how good things can be. I personally look at this 2 ways as someone who has contemplated. First, I've seen the damage it can do and the ripple e…

If you are brand new and need the practice, then take it where you can get it. Do not let it become your norm. You need to start somewhere to learn and get a grasp on the concepts. You should consistently be pushing your boundaries though and soon enough you'll realize that you can run pretty similar game on a majority of women.

I have a hard time with the day to day grind of a job but certain things make it better. For me an office or corporate job does not work because of the type of work and politics involved. Personally, I thrive in hands-on jobs that use problem solving, independent thinking. For years I was a bartender and waiter because I enjoyed the time flexibility and having my own style to interact with people but the money was only so big. Now I am a welder/fabricator. I make good money, I get to build diffe…

Being an incel is really more of a mindset than anything. Incels project their problems onto the world and other people, they make excuses for all that is wrong and they take ZERO personal responsibility. They have misguided beliefs and won't even hear anything to the contrary. You are taking the first steps by seeking out advice and looking to take responsibility for yourself in order to change for the better. It is all a process. Keep asking questions, take advice, work on your issues and then…

I'll be honest, I got really lucky. While I was in school I worked full time as a waiter and part time at a machine shop. The town I was in mostly had production welding jobs that were uninteresting to me and didn't pay shit. I found a job and moved about 2 hours away. The job I took told me I would be putting in lift gates, customs cabinets and other custom stuff in like box trucks but all I ended up doing was repair shop work on box trucks on second shift for like $13/hr. I stuck it out for a …

Sounds like you have some pretty severe mindset and motivational/discipline issues. Do you have trouble making yourself going to the gym and getting it done? I used to have this problem where if things didn't come fairly effortlessly I would give or procrastinate them. I was a smart kid who was completely bored in school, didn't have to study and just breezed through it all. I never had to do the work and it set up a standard that plagues me to this day at 38. First, there are so many types of welding and different scenarios you can be put into in general so there will never be a blanket statement that covers it all. That being said, yes, welding can be taxing in many ways from physical lifting, awkward positions, eye strain, heat, repetitive movements. None of that cover other jobsote dangers either so safety first.

A trade is the way to go. Learn some real world skills. I make over 6 figures as a welder, average 50 hours per week but it's worth it. Most people that go to college won't touch 6 figures. Plus your trade skills can be used outside of work.

No, they do mean what they say in the moment and believe it themselves. The problem is that in the NEXT moment they feel and believe something totally different. This is why they don't have congruence issues, because "in the moment" they believe whatever random feeling and thoughts they have without regard to earlier feelings and thoughts.

Dude is right. You want to put some of this stuff into practice right away for a few reasons. First and most important is that there is a learning curve (no matter what your SMV) and the sooner you start the sooner you improve. You learn how to handle objections and rejections. If you do end up improving yourself in different areas you will have a kind of before and after of how this stuff works as you increase in value. To be completely honest, you will see a bigger improvement in your skills a…

"Alpha" is an overrated and overused term on this sub. You're a young guy figuring it out, nothing wrong with that. Personally, I'd try to keep it light and funny, have a conversation and try to meetup in person for a date or drink or whatever. Replies -You didn't?! You sure? How many drinks did you have?! -Wait, you added me -(tell her the truth) Idk, some examples but something along those lines. Like I said, if you take a shot and miss, oh well, you can at least get some practice.

No, "what?" was a perfectly valid question. Well, she responded so why do you want to run away now? This is the perfect opportunity to try and get somewhere with her. You have a chance but if you blow it just remember you were going to cut and run like a little bitch anyway. Piece of solid advice: REGRET IS ALWAYS WORSE THAN REJECTION! Meaning, if you take your shot and miss (or hit) at least you got an answer. If you don't even take the shot you will always wonder. Take your shot, make a move a…

I think most people respect when you don't smoke or drink. Just be straight up about it and dont be ashamed of it. Honestly, I think a lot of, especially young people, just do it because "everyone does it" and they dont even really know why they do it. I grew up and live in Wisconsin where drinking is like the national past time. When I decided not to drink anymore it was awkward at first because people legit didn't understand or assumed it was because I had a problem.

Just turned 38 and this is about how I feel. I actually try to think back on how I lived or what it did in my 20s. I draw a blank. I mean I can think of a few things but damn. Now life is "real". I unfortunately didn't have real goals in my 20s and set up my 30s with debt. I'll be debt free before 40 making over 6 figures. My issue is that I always want to do more and I need to figure out how that works for me. My own business is ideal but I haven't figured out how to get there yet.

Um no. Clean or dirty are shitty terms to describe people who get STIs. OP was "clean" but now has an STI so he's "dirty" but once he clears it he'll be "clean" again. You just have to be a dummy for a sec like OP to get an STI but its doesnt make him unclean. There plenty of people reaching 30 that barely make $50k let alone $200k so why make a comparison to the top like 5%? I was 32 and had been a server or bartender or delivery driver for the past 12 years or so before I decided to go back to school. I started tech school for welding and fabrication at 33 while working fulltime. I turned 38 today and last year made over $100k, should manage it again this year or close. Best time to start is a couple years ago, second best time is now.

You're over thinking it. Don't worry about giving her an orgasm just make sure you're both enjoying yourselves. At least she is being open and honest about it and not lying or faking them, which is WAY worse. I don't think its strange to have that stuff but you sound pretty new to the scene and need to do a lot more reading. Never should you ever surprise a partner with y of that stuff. If you take her back she will change. She will change just long enough until you drop your guard or she gets triggered and accidentally screws up. They never really change so move on. At BEST she could maybe be a FWB but I'm guessing she'll push for a bump in status sooner than later and if she doesnt get her way you'll be right back where you started. Take this all as a learning experience and keep better boundaries/frame with the next one.

You sound younger so I'll assume the girls are your age or even younger yet. If they are young and inexperienced then it could simply be that. You'll have to move at a different speed for some girls and let them get comfortable with the situation and sexual stuff. As someone who has always dated younger women it can take some patience but be well worth it. The other option is that she isn't that into it so you'll have to figure out which is which.

The rules for fighting. Don't get into a fight De-escalate and walk/run away Literally do whatever you can to avoid a fight If you end up in a fight you tried to avoid and didn't start, then you do everything you can to end it as fast as possible. This isn't a 1 punch to the face movie knockout. Kick, punch, bite, scratch, tackle and break bones if you have to. There's no such thing as a fair fight in the street.

They may or may not be dtf. Honestly, they get a bigger high seeing if they can play you. Edit: I used to be the guy that got played. Then I learned how to see the game being played. Finally I became the guy that girls would talk openly about the guys they were playing.

TRP speaks in absolutes because that is what is needed in the beginning. If only most women are sluts then each new guy would think his little angel is the exception. There are a lot of nuances once you learn most of this stuff but you kind of have to go to the extremes before you can step back and see it all for what it is. The two biggest problems I see here. Can I just point out that you did the exact thing you said works (talked overtly about sex) and then come here asking why you can't get that date locked down. I will agree that SOMETIMES talking about sex directly can work, HOWEVER it will fail far more often than it works. If it works it basically because the chick has already decided 100% she was going to fuck you anyway and you pretty much couldn't say anything to change her mind. Shit man, I pretty much threw away my 20s and early 30s. I got some women and some stories but that doesn't pay the rent. Went back to school at 33 for welding and fabrication and now at 37 making 6 figures. It can happen super fast but you need some specific goals and a plan. I was going to add more to my comment about calibration and such but I decided to keep it short and sweet. If a guy doesnt want to put in an effort with women I think that is reasonable if he is aware of his reasons for it and it is intentional.

The fuck is this shit? Half truth. First, dating apps are crap and yes looks count for a lot. Plus, so many chicks use them for validation and it's so much fucking work. Cold approaching can work for almost anyone but shit won't be easy so you've gotta be realistic. Examples. I'm a good looking guy so girls may be attracted and give me an easier opening to shoot my shot but I still have to be interesting and funny. Being good looking also makes a lot of girls throw up their defenses because they…

I could spend all day every day without saying a word. I am more of the school of thought that nobody cares what my opinion is on most any subject so I keep it to myself. Now, that all being said, I can still be outgoing and talkative which messes some people up when that's the first impression of me that they get. When I am silent I am listening, hearing all and typically playing through thoughts and scenarios in my head. I have often dealt with the "why are you so quiet", "are you mad" questio…

Had a "friend" pick up with my ex as soon as we split. Pretty sure there was some shit going on behind my back. I told him I would have been fine if he would have asked but he says he doesnt ask anyone permission to do shit. I was a good friend to him and he has tried to play nice months later, it's been about 3 years now, but he's out...forever.

So you're own insecurity has stopped you from getting laid and moving this relationship forward. That's a statement and not a question btw. I find it difficult to comprehend that you haven't talked about any of this after meeting up 10+ times. I bet you talked before meeting up at all and those kinds of things should have been discussed by your second meet up. This is how you lose the girl ya dum dum. Not that you should really care in the first place. Why would you possibly care about who or how many people she has been with? Is she with you right now? Good, then that's all you need to know. Having the conversation you want to have is lose/lose. You are already insecure so if she's honest you'll probably hear things you don't want hear and be more insecure causing you to fuck it all up anyway. Any time you try to compare to anything outside of yourself you will get this. Plus, you don't know the whole story of that other person. Someone who makes a lot of money could have had financially secure and influential parents. You just never know and you dont know who is really happy on the inside. Here is good advice for you or anyone reading this. First of all, don't get in the habit of lending people money, there are institutions for that. IF you decide to lend someone money you need to look at it as a gift. Here's how it goes for me: So and so asks for money I am comfortable giving them the amount they ask for assuming I'll never get it back (of course anyone asking for money offers to pay it back) I tell them I will give them the money with 2 conditions I am giving the money as a gift…

You're too dependent on the outcome of a single interaction. Bar backs can still make some good $$. Idk, the kinds of places you're trying to apply to but if they are high end they may very well have low turnover and are rarely hiring. On the other hand, service industry always seems to have decent turnover. You may need to step back to step up. Start working your way down as far as the "level" of bar/nightclub you want to work at. Wow, a lot of crap comments. MBTI can really help you understand how you interpret the world around you even though some say it is unscientific. The issue I see a lot of people having with the test is that they try to use it as an unchangeable absolution of who they are. People can change and adapt even though most people will keep the same type. What you really need to realize is that these personality types all fall on a scale. I am an ENTP and that is almost always how I type out, however, so…

Like I said, it is a generalization as each element is a range. Few people are 100% introverted or extroverted but somewhere between the two. Read the whole description for your type and see if any of it makes sense. She tells you. Some girls/women will hide the fact that they're a mom because they dont want to scare away the hot guy they like. If she tells you that she had a kid(s) it's fine as long as she isn't trying to get you to meet them. If a chick introduces you to her kids it is a big red flag unless you are in an ltr. If she does it with you, then she probably does it with other guys and is fucking up her kids in the process. I recently added the following to my dating apps. If you are looking for …

Cut them loose. Those types of people coast along and expect those around them to do the same. You are actively improving yourself in many different areas of your life and they dont like being passed up. They would never admit it and a lot of it may come out subconsciously. It may get lonely for a while but try to find good people with similar ambitions. Oh, btw, the people you described aren't friends.

I feel the need to comment because I went through this almost identical situation. First, I'll give you a little rundown on my story and then I'll tell you why you're in a much better spot. I was popular once, way back in early grade school. My best friend and I ruled the playground, true story, we were the two fastest runners, rocked the teeter totter(seesaw) like it was an extreme sport and owned at kickball. This is a true story. After 3rd grade my friend got moved to a new school and in 4th …

You assumed you already knew the outcome and that assumed outcome became reality. You had a great response to the bf line and she offered you another opportunity that you failed. I think she caught you off guard with the opening and you froze. Push, push until you get the yes or no because then you dont need to interpret some alternative outcome. Worst case scenario, you find another coffee shop!

This is the real answer. You kept pushing for more and she had to back you off. Its tiresome. You need to be the one to pull back first. As you get better you will know exactly when to stop and when to start again. You also need to be willing to kick her out if she's just wasting your time. Like you said though, she drove hours to see you, so imagine how she felt when you were being so needy. Turned her right off.

This is pretty much the post I've been wanting to write. No doubt, yours is worded much better than mine could have ever been. Too many guys here take everything at black and white face value. If you are taught how to use and respect guns and other weapons they are useful like any other tool but most people only know what they see in tv, movies, video games and the news. The first thing you need to do is change your focus from results to effort. If you only focus on the results you are going to burn out very quickly. If you focus on effort you can measure and control that aspect. Which is better for a beginner: in 30 days you do 1 approach and get laid or you do 100 approaches and get laid 1 time? You can set your goal to be 1 lay in 30 days or 100 approaches. It is a mindset shift. If you're just trying to get laid you will become very discouraged if you do 99 …

If you are both apart for the semester why try this now? You'd probably be best off showing abundance through your social media since she watches you there. Abundance and fun. Then when you are both back at school hang out and escalate the situation.

So you both made plans to go to prom 2 months ago? You backed out last minute and somehow SHE is in the wrong for still wanting to go?! Get the fuck out of here! Quit being a whiny little bitch and follow through on the plans YOU made. Don't punish your gf for your idiocy. I laugh when people suggest this. It is no sure fire plan. The chick already is "in love" with the guy and may see all feelings and sharing as him opening up to her and committing. He would likely have to go past beta to incel stalker and even then women will sometimes put up with a lot once they have an idealized version of a guy in their heads.

Non-verbal communication! How did you know she was into you? She gave you looks and her body language. You can communicate back the same way. Being grinded (ground?) on is your chance to escalate. You can get a lot done on a dance floor without talking. So much here, I'll keep it simple. Kiss them at the beginning of the date and then you don't have to worry about it at the end.

Takes practice and effort to build it up just like a muscle. Something you can do for an excersice is to look back on your day and see what made you break frame or almost break and think about why. What nerve or insecurity did it hit? Reflect on that and see if it is really as big of a deal as it was when it hit you. It probably wasn't a big deal and going forward you will be able to do this essentially "in the moment".

First of all, love that movie! Second, maybe she is wondering how much dick HE took in that time period. Haha, just saying. Plus it was possibly a dream sequence. We will find out in the sequel. Wright said he is going to write it but it may not be the next project he does.

Not sure why you're getting down voted for this because it's true. And all the people saying she a flake, really?! You burn every girl where you don't get to meet on your terms the first time? I don't know if that's lack or abundance, SUPER abundance or just stupidity. OP, obviously don't apologize but feel free to reschedule if that's what YOU want. You don't need to offer any excuse either. At most it would be "Hey, I ended up with other plans last night." then reschedule.

Now you should apologize. Really though, if that's what you think you're on the wrong track. Have you even known someone that apologizes for everything? It is super annoying and yes, weak. I apologize when there is a reason I genuinely need to apologize.

That's like the "nice" guys who are sooo nice to women but lose their shit when those women won't fuck them. You can tell her to fuck off. Or you can find another way to let her know that you don't want what she wants but you are in no way obligated to her.

The part about moving forward is spot on! I turn 35 in a week OP and I felt pretty much in the same boat not long ago. I had to file bankruptcy less than 2 years ago, living with a girl and her mom, plus I was just a waiter. In that time I managed to put myself back through school (welding and fabrication) with no help from said girl, had to move twice, a breakup, other b.s. drama, and paid off most of my remaining debt. A lot can happen in a short time if you just take steps towards it. I had n…

I have always been a more shy/reserved person so it took me a lot of deliberate, conscious effort to be social and be good at it. In college I was so bad socially but I managed to be with 5 women by the time I was 22. I didn't really start going out to the bars until 23. I had watched The Pickup Artist on MTV and was amazed. I read The Game and used that as my foundation for going out, being social and picking up women. The book isn't really meant for that but it's what I used to get started. Al…

I think this is going to vary wildly per person. I personally have never minded being alone and doing things alone. For me it is more difficult to be in groups. I will say that age seems to help a lot of the people I know who have/had issues being alone. My best friend spent his teens and 20s surrounded by people almost all of the time because he couldn't be alone with his own thoughts. Now he is nearing 30 and he is much more ok with being alone. You don't state your age but by the title I assume you're young. The first thing is to realize that nothing matters, NOTHING, not a fucking thing! There is no good or bad just your perception. You were likely brought up (unconsciously taught) to perceive things a certain way but you can learn to change this by consciously observing how to see things. For example, if someone came up to me and said "You look like an asshole!" I would be completely amused by this statement. I know this isn't about …

Apologize for the confusion. In another comment someone talked about video recording any encounters that take place in your dorm or apartment and a bunch of people went off on how that is a whole other crime in and of itself. Elsewhere in TRP there has been talk of audio recording your encounters. This typically is 1 party consent (check your local laws) and is just another failsafe besides, say, getting a text from the girl that she had a good time. So, a dedicated recording device could record…

I thought the same thing. Plus, at that age don't get a big obvious tattoo. If you absolutely NEED to get a tattoo get something hidden from everyday view and do not ever get someone else's name tattooed on you. Plus, having the everyday nice guy look and having a tattoo that only some see can be a good thing. I got a large tattoo on my back at 22, should have waited. Ears pierced at 26, don't regret it. A lot of great advice in the other comments. What helped me in hs was practicing Tae Kwon Do. It helped physically, mentally and is great for confidence overall but it takes time! What is your diet like? I have a major sweet tooth and for a few years I hit the soda hard and didn't eat well. Besides weight gain and feeling lethargic I had trouble waking up at any time. There is nothing wrong with this situation, just how you frame it. Why is her age important? I'm 34 and I'd be all over this with the following mindset. Like you said, she will probably end up dating a douche anyway. Show her what a man is and how she should be treated. You can lead her, teach her. There are some many scenarios you have to feel it out. Are you a regular, just passing through? Really, so many variables. Like any other interactions, can you get a conversation going, build rapport, ect.

As a server, if you're going to hit on a server just know they are usually busy and have stuff to do (front of house and back of house) so don't worry if she can't talk much. If you're a cheapskate and bad tipper...just don't even try. Tip well but also not so stupid much that she thinks you're trying to buy a date (although that works with some girls).

Pretty much how I started with my last gf. You know she's a slut but obviously, I hope it's obvious, you don't ever let her think you know/think she's a slut before you've slept with her. You may he able to tease her about being a slut after. Stop over thinking it, just arrange to hang out and don't worry about the outcome. If you can arrange a 1-on-1 hang out right away to maybe have a drink and watch a movie or something at your place or her place you're over half way there.

Why is everyone making a big deal about this? OP, yes, you can get a vasectomy reversed but it may not be as simple as you think and time adds to the likelihood it won't take. However, if you know, like myself, that you do not want kids ever then go for it. You'll get checked a few times the first year to make sure the tubes didn't heal themselves.

It's literally shock and curiosity on how to handle it. I went through the same thing. To OP, have fun with it and don't take any of it too serious! In fact have fun blowing some of that shit out, push those boundaries of what you thought was socially acceptable way beyond what you believed was possible and you'll grow quickly.

My line has always been, "Well, I used to be a boy scout and the motto is always be prepared, so...." or "better safe than sorry" If it's at her place just flip it back on her. "Do you have a condom?" If she doesn't then you can allude to the fact that she sleeps with guys unprotected which is why you carry a condom just in case or if she does, then you are both prepared. (Actually, none of this paragraph is a good idea because talking too much in this situation is a mood killer.) Honestly, if y…

You talk about doing 3 sets up pull ups, 3 sets of dips and then 60 push ups but are you doing these now? I'm 6'0.5"(yes, a half inch) and weigh 205 and don't look how you describe so you must be scrawny! If you do those exercises daily you should have no problem but you HAVE to cut the sugar and shit. I was in Tae Kwon Do for 2 years in HS and I was a husky mofo. I lost a good amount of weight but I didn't get any of my definition until I cut soda and all the sweets I was eating. It's more abou…

Yeah, you basically need to take complete control. Tell her what to do by gently guiding her. You'll need to adjust a lot but she has no clue what to do except for what she has seen in movies.

My edit reminded me of a story. Senior year of HS I was young and naive(very) but I had come into my looks, got a bit of style plus I was fit and more confident from a year practicing Tae Kwon Do. I worked in a hotel and one of the front desk girls took a liking to me. I don't remember how old she was (24-26 maybe) but she took the lead enough to get me to her house to hang out. I had only ever been with one person, one time before we hung out so I had ZERO game. The conversation had gotten just…

I needed this post. Not because I am an average or ugly guy who needed a wake up call but because I am one of the above average looking guys who should be taking advantage of my looks. With some fucked up shit in my childhood and being raised by my mother my confidence and self esteem were at a shitty low level. I really came into my looks at the end of HS (also got some style and practiced Tae Kwon Do) and ate up the attention I did get but still didn't know how to handle it. It has taken years…
