The Venetian Arts Handbook or whatever it's called is a solid read.

I've never had to answer that, but the first thing that comes to mind is "Use your imagination." Honestly, I'm not sure how that would go over. I'd probably say it playfully and not dwell on it too long unless she gets excited or something.

I like the quote, but I'd say the reason men want women is tied more to evolution/survival.

You know, I think if you say this to enough girls that you are bound to get laid. Eventually a girl will completely buy into the role, and all you have to do from there is not fuck up.

My core philosophy is to always be improving myself, and as a result I am a new man every month -- shedding my old habits and beliefs for new (hopefully improved) ones. If anyone ever mentions it (which almost never happens to me, by the way), I tell them my honest opinion: that only boring people never change. I'd honestly be very disappointed if I looked back on myself six months ago and saw that I was the same person I am today. That said, it's important to have some core values/morals/ethics…

Have fun without her while she's being late, and tease her about how much fun she's missed when she shows up. Drawing attention to it in almost any way makes you look bad, especially since you are clearly concerned about how late she is all the time. If it's consistent, I'd just show up late myself, around the time I'd expect her to show up. If she asks why you're late, be frank and let her know that since she's always late you decided to show up when you knew she'd get there -- but be playful a…

I just like to think that everything is an IOI. That way you are never stuck there wondering if she's digging you or whether it was a good or bad thing when she looked away real quick like that. Touched her hair? IOI. Whispered something to her friend? IOI. Gave you a strange look? Fuck it, IOI. It's also silly to look at IOIs as permission to escalate, and the mindset should be more that if you are getting them (and you are, because everything is an IOI), you should be escalating faster. So dur…

I once asked a girl if she wanted a ride back to her place. She agreed, and we each hopped into our separate cars and headed back to her place. I knew it was on and I just needed to say something to get from point A to point B.

Those last two points are right in line with Juggler's "SOI" theory. I've re-read about it recently and I want to build the habit of using it more because it seems very powerful.

The idea is that you shouldn't be adopting incongruent non-needy behaviors just to pick up girls. Don't start acting like an asshole just because you think that's what girls want.

I like the idea of using a question game as a screening device. I'm surprised that I've never done it before because it sounds like something I should start doing with almost every girl I meet.

It's a 1-10 scale that basically indicates a girl's relative value in an environment. The idea behind it is that you may have to approach the girl that has a line of guys waiting to talk to her differently then the girl sitting by herself at the end of the bar, so sometimes the HB# can add a lot of context to a field report. It's not intended to mean how "hot" a girl is, but generally the two are strongly correlated. More info here. If you're new here, don't get to worked up over the terminology…

A few weeks ago this girl came up to me and wouldn't shut up about how great my abs were, but she must have been high or something because I've got a somewhat obvious beer gut. Moral of the story is no one cares about your abs, you'll win more girls with the right demeanor than physique.

You aren't going to stand out by sending a text like this. You may as well ask her "what's up?". I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with it but this is nothing special.

All he's saying is that there is nothing stopping OP from getting laid in the next year if he wants to. The same applies to you -- age has nothing to do with it.

Well he's not really a dick, just doesn't have much of a spine and won't stand up for himself. Obey the law of infection -- if you associate yourself with the unconfident, they will drown you with their problems. Instead, associate yourself with the happy and fortunate. It's really hard to "avoid" friends, but sometimes it's necessary. When I go out with some of my less social friends I feel like I have to babysit them most of the night or they won't have a good time.

I'm a fan of your contributions here as of late, and this is no exception. Great advice. The ten-minute kiss this is something I probably need to work on myself. How often are you denied, and how many of the girls who denied you the early kiss did you end up kissing later? Are there any particular signs that tell you she'll be accepting to the early kiss? The whole "AA never goes away" thing is a big realization.

How about some sort of "common misconceptions" link in the form of a Frequently Asked Questions page to address the topics of manipulation, lingo, HB scale, etc.? People tend to come here with misguided preconceived notions about who we are and what we do, and it may help to dispel these notions before introducing anyone to the basic concepts.

Are you going to a nice club or are you drinking bottom-shelf wells at a college bar? If I'm at a college bar, one of the more interesting wells I'll order is a vodka, water, lime. For shots, girls seem to love stuff like water moccasins, lemon drops and kamikazes. "Bombs" are also fun because they're somewhat more of an activity: Irish Car Bombs, Jager Bombs, Flaming Dr. Pepper, Sake Bombs (girls love these, but usually only japanese/thai places make them with the chopsticks and all). I just try to relax as much as I possibly can: I lean back, I lean on everything, etc. The one thing I'm trying to work on is when sitting at bars or high tables. Leaning forward with my elbow on the bar feels adverse to how I sit on a chair or in a couch, but at the same time it feels the most "natural". I often find myself switching between the two positions a lot, but I feel like it isn't always the best body language. I do think that "leaning back" at the bar is a pretty good way to talk to …

I used to be really into facebook in HS/college, thought it was good for social value and some gaming, I recently graduated and I'm completely over it, deactivated it, and couldn't be happier. That sounds like a great place to start. Seriously, just be honest about it (leave out the "social value and gaming" part). If you're concerned about being weird for not having a facebook, you probably shouldn't have deleted it to begin with.

Don't worry about it too much, there's a good chance she's just busy. I'd give it a few days and try again. If she does get back to you tonight I'd probably just give it a rest for the night anyways -- I don't like to keep texting a girl when she's obviously not too invested in the conversation.

I'd probably text her back one more time tonight and leave it at that, even if she responds (which she hopefully will). If she asks a direct question, wait a bit and answer it. You don't really have to wait long between texts, but you don't want to immediately reply to every text because you'll look like you're just sitting there waiting for your phone to beep. I tend to take a long time to respond to texts, because I'll receive a text, think about what I want to say back, but get distracted by …

Get rid of that limiting belief right now. Many great PUAs don't even drink -- Tyler Durden is one of them. The idea that you have to drink to have fun and to go to bars/clubs is a fallacy and stops too many people from having a good time.

Situation openers are always great, or if I'm in an uncrowded bar I always like to get a good "bar conversation" going with the people around me. I always found it hard to open in shoulder-to-shoulder packed bars (which is most college bars on a Friday or Saturday night), and never had much fun in those bars unless I was with a decent group of people and we had a table or something, or if it's just me and a friend or two and we get a seat at the bar a few hours before it gets busy. I like to ask people, "What do you do?", and when they start to talk about their job I stop them: "No, what do you do in your free time, what are your hobbies, what is your passion?" Later in the conversation I'll sometimes go back to their job: "So tell me more about x." It all depends on what you want out of people and conversation. Be careful with #2. Being all-too-eager to establish a commonality with a girl in an attempt to win her favor can easily backfire. (I know this isn't what you were implying, but it needs to be pointed out. In fact, your example is a great cold read, and is a fine example what I like to call chick crack.) Often, disagreeing with a girl will work out at least as well as agreeing with her (it depends on the topic, but this usually works pretty well with a playful, sarcastic tone).

Thanks for the reply. I really like the paper analogy, because I'm great at writing papers, and the one thing I know that I have to do to write a paper is just start writing. This example really highlights the problem and the solution for me. I never really had a problem with it in the realm of seduction, but it has definitely permeated other aspects of my life (and I've gotten a lot better with it, probably because I have a more outgoing, just do shit attitude nowadays). If it's a small town and you see everyone a lot, you don't have to make sure you do EVERYTHING in one meeting. Each time you see them, you can add a little piece and let the attraction grow more naturally (and also more subtly). This also applies to social circles and other instances when you know you'll be seeing the same people often. (But don't be the chump that doesn't escalate because he tells himself he'll see her again sometime -- a lot of people use this as an excuse to not make any move…

There isn't one correct answer to this question. Find your own limit and realize that every time you surpass it you are hurting your game. Generally, drinking nothing is better than anything, but some of us love to drink while we're out so we do.
/r/seduction12/02/12 10:01 PM

But that's all calculated. Who says it's calculated? Maybe at first, while you are fixing your habits, but it all becomes natural. Once I'm comfortable with a girl I've met, my hand is constantly touching her back while we're talking, but it's all subconscious -- I'm not standing there waiting to strike or anything.

If it's anything like the rest of what I've read from you, I won't be disappointed. Also, I hope you don't mind answering a quick question, since I don't think I'll have a better opportunity to ask: What was your experience with writing before you decided, Fuck it, I'm going to write a book and get published? ...when I see people who don't seem to really want to be with someone but marry them anyway, it makes me sad. I'm in my early-to-mid twenties, and I'm starting to see this happen all around me, even to my good friends. That's really the only way to describe it -- it's just sad. Direct approaching doesn't conflict with social-circle gaming. While I agree that the Conquer Your Campus style of gaming can be pretty powerful at universities, this is a situation where that wouldn't even help, and a direct approach is really your only option.

"I'm picky" is the worst excuse there is. I know people love to defend this line of reasoning, but why the hell would you try an opener like this if you weren't even willing to bring her home in the first place? "I could have had her, but I was looking for something better" is something AFC-me used to say all the time.

Vinny is definitely one of the few level-headed members of the group, but he doesn't know the first thing when it comes to women (unless he's changed, I've only seen the first two seasons for the most part). I remember a few episodes where he had the oneitis bad, and he was doing things like calling the girl and hanging up once she answered, and was being plain creepy at other times.

I've watched the early seasons and enjoyed the show, but these guys are terrible role models for anyone interested in seduction. They all have serious emotional problems and their entire livelihood is tied to their ego. They aren't even "good" with women--most of their success is from the social status that comes with being a minor celebrity.
/r/seduction26/12/11 08:25 PM

It sounds like you're failing the shit test. Girls find guys who gets a lot of girls to be very attractive, I think you are just playing your cards wrong, ie you aren't responding correctly. What do you do when they bring it up? Try an agree and amplify next time.
/r/seduction26/12/11 08:07 PM

No, you don't give the bitchy girl shit because you don't care. An ideal trait to have if you want to be successful with women is to be nonreactive. (I agree with you that it's silly to be hopeful for her to change her mind in the future though. That is the kind of mentality that stops the chumps from taking action.)

As much as I agree that you don't want to be "in your head", the entire point of a FR is to analyze your night, to try and figure out what works and what doesn't, and--more importantly--why it works. This doesn't mean that you have to be "in your head" or analyzing the entire time while you are there. Have you ever read a field report by an actual PUA? They pick apart their every action. Still, they aren't sitting there in the field thinking Okay, three IOIs, time for the sniper-neg!. Obviously …

ShowcasePUA sort of explained why I think you should hold off on the Mystery. I've only read his Venusian Arts Handbook, and it is very methodical--it's like if you were being lectured with power points and all--but also it's sort of dated. Since you're young, I'd recommend working on improving your inner game more than any actual seduction "techniques". Start with this post from the sidebar. Seriously, go through it and read everything. Mystery's books will give you a good idea of how seduction works, but a lot of the material is geared towards bar and club game, while you should be able to work with your social circles if you're in high school.

Read this about shit tests (actually read the Tyler Durden link at the bottom of the post first), then go to the seddit search bar and look up kino, escalation, and LMR (last minute resistance). I'd say these are probably the most important things to nail down first, skill-wise. Along with that you want to get to the point where you have solid inner game--particularly self confidence and outcome independence. Check the guides on the sidebar and use the seddit search bar.
/r/seduction22/12/11 10:51 PM

Since you've already recommended The 48 Laws of Power--which, by the way, everyone should read, pua or not--I'll mention The Art of Seduction, another book by Greene. I don't recommend it for complete beginners to the school of seduction, because some of the information may seem counter-intuitive, but it's a great read for the developing pua.

The seduction doesn't stop here. Don't stop talking to girls. Don't get too comfortable. Don't give in to her shit tests. Basically nothing changes, except you two are exclusive. The last few chapters of The Art of Seduction have some good insights into relationship game. It discusses switching up the chaser and the chased, and well as continually "renewing" the seduction.

You need to get the whole "I feel another friendzone coming on." idea out of your head. Don't worry about how the last few girls you were with turned out. As TofuTofu mentioned, I don't think that line would work as well if you don't completely disqualify yourself first as ImKumarYo did. I personally can't think of many ways to say "I wanna be your friend" without sounding needy (it strikes me as something a blatant AFC would say -- no offense meant to Kumar, he definitely pulled it off right). I usually prefer to #-close and set up a proper day-2. Sometimes I do this instead of pushing for a same-nighter (especially if I think I can call up another hook-up later). This isn't to say that I won't try, but if I can tell they're going to be putting up more LMR than I feel like dealing with, I'll wait. You don't have to sacrifice security to have a mutual understanding that you have other options if you really needed them. It comes down to having core values, beliefs, principles. This is the essence of strong inner game. Because of these principles, you have certain social boundaries, beyond which you deem certain actions to be unacceptable. In a healthy relationship, she knows this and respects this -- in fact this is probably the very reason that she is attracted to you. On top of this, she …

Didn't we just establish he isn't looking for advice? Maybe, if he was actually seeking advice, this would be passable here. To be clear, I'm not condoning it (and my downvote was applied thusly), but merely understanding it. I understand that he wants to think he's seeking advice, but really only wants to hear the side of it that justifies his actions. (And, only a few short hours later, he's already done the deed. Oh what a dilemma this must have been.)

Well I appreciate the brutal honesty in sharing an apparently controversial opinion, and showing a real perspective on the issue from a seduction viewpoint. There is only one other "serious" post here, whilst everyone else is complaining about the malapropism/spelling error in the title. What you say is all too true. If you are going to be sexually active at all, there is only so much you can do, and nothing really comes close to being fail-safe.

You can't indefinitely give off the impression you are going to leave. No, but you can give off the impression that you have the option to leave. If she knows that you can leave whenever you want, she can't exploit your neediness like all of her other boyfriends. This is what abundance mentality is all about.

Sounds like you made up your mind to do it. Yep. He's looking for peer justification, not actual advice. edit: Honestly, this looks more like an /askreddit post than a /seduction one. (Although I do understand why it's here; you get much better social advice here.)

That was a great read. My only comment is that the author doesn't seem to have a respectable motivation for creating his wonderful little trick. He seems insecure, that he can't handle the "sting" of the subtle insults he is receiving, and wants a way to get revenge and "one-up" the aggressor. In this respect I don't think he is any better than the aggressor -- he fears the loss of dignity he feels from the insult, however subtle it may be. He isn't really above the situation. I think that his s…

I'm disappointed to see the disagreement here (based on the downvotes). ThrowawayPUA is completely correct here. The very reason that most men are terrible with women is because of what movies and television tell them will work. No pickup line or gimmick that you ever see in a movie will help you get a girl. I even have a hard time watching most movies because of how untrue to reality they are -- once you have a basic understanding of social dynamics and seduction theory, watching most movies is…

Most regulars probably know this, but supposedly Hitch is based on David Wygant. Also, along the lines of James Bond-type alphas, I like Clint Eastwood in his older movies. He isn't much of a lady's man, but he has a powerful alpha presence. His unflinching attitude and his slow speech demand respect. When he talks people listen. This is honestly probably the only lesson to take from him though. Sometimes when I catch myself talking fast, I tell myself to slow down and talk like Clint from the d…

A common problem with canned material is that it isn't congruent. It's hard to tell whether this is the problem here though. Also, you probably have to practice more. Mystery says you need to try an opener/routine ~20 times or something before you get good at it. It's all about calibration. The tattoo routine you ran sounds like it could have suffered from this (straight from the Venusian Arts Handbook). That is to say, it wasn't rooted and it seems like it came out of nowhere. For a girl to be "dateable," she needs to be fucking awesome. Like the personification of greatness. You won't meet many girls like that. BUT, that doesn't mean you can't fuck a girl (or make her a fuck buddy) when she doesn't fit that description. My standards for fucking are wayyyy, way lower. It's the same idea, just talk about something you actually like. The goal is to get her talking about something she may initially be uncomfortable talking about by crossing smaller conversational bridges to get there. So for smart girls, even if she were fascinated by particle physics, if you start talking to her about quantum mechanics out of nowhere, she's probably going to be creeped out. The best way to deal with this is for you to truly feel that it isn't a weird thing or a problem, but that it's completely normal and that the idea of monogamy never crosses your mind. If your frame is rock solid she won't question it. "this is the way I live, you can either accept it or be out" is the right attitude to have, but don't directly offer her an ultimatum like that or it won't go over well most of the time.

This sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy, and a limiting belief: you are assuming that none of these girls are smart, so you're letting everything you see confirm that and not making an effort to actually meet a smart girl or get to know a girl well enough for her to show that side. Most girls are smarter than they let on - they think being smart is an unattractive quality or that it will scare off most guys. I don't think it really matters. It's an old book and the newer editions are edited to be more relevant to modern times. It tells you whenever you come across something that wasn't in the original. Newer copies are also missing a chapter on keeping a happy wife, I think, but it was probably removed because it is dated, and you're reading r/seduction right now which should be a decent substitute.

You just need to have firm principles and beliefs. Most people have no set-in-stone values, so their principles are constantly changing based on what they think the people around them want them to be like. So some HB might be talking about her boring cat all night, and you're just standing there agreeing with her and telling her how awesome her cat is, when you really think she's psycho for talking about her cat so much. No specific materials come to mind - perhaps someone else can share some - but day game maintains the same principles as any other method of attraction. Girls usually don't have as much of a "bitch shield" up (I really don't like using that term but I think everyone knows what I mean when I say it) as they do when they're out at the club, so they tend to be more receptive to your approach, although sometimes they are just …

There's some strong, though admittedly well deserved, criticism in the replies posted so far, but there is still a good lesson in here that should not be overlooked. A man should have a set of values or standards when it comes to women. Remove these labels from your identity. Thinking that you will never be good with women because you are introverted is a limiting belief. "I'm introverted" is just an excuse to be unsocial. You will screw this up if you keep delaying. She already gave you the most obvious invitation you'll ever get to fuck her. It's clear that's what she wants, and if you don't give her what she needs she'll find someone else and forget about you. It sounds like you've got oneitis, and I think you should make your move next time you're with her or you might actually screw up your chance at a LTR.

Don't react. Be unreactive. Honestly, when you're "casually dating" and a girl "negs" you, it's really just flirting and you should take it as such. Just laugh and tease her back or continue the conversation. You're failing by getting frustrated at it, when it should really be boosting your state. To me it sounds like you are reading to much into the situation. Drop all this analysis of negs and DHVs with this girl, you are past that point. Just make your move and get what you want.

It wasn't really explicitly mentioned, but I think there's an important message hidden in these paragraphs screaming to be heard. One of the things you need if you want to take your game to the next level is a genuine love for women, and I'm talking about women in general, not like that time you had oneitis in high school. Another way to look at it is how ready a girl is to fend off approaches. Sometimes you see a girl who literally has a line of guys forming around her, and she's just turning them down left and right. The higher the HB rating, the more of a "bitch shield" she's going to put up, and the harder it is going to be for you to get her to even pay attention to you.

Skip the formalities. Work, school, etc. are the most boring topics you could possibly talk about. These topics are a crutch for a hollow conversation. These are two different scales that measure two different things. What you are describing is a simplified scale based on your opinions of her attractiveness. The actual HB scale in seduction theory, which yokhai described well enough above that I needn't go into detail, should be thought of as a scale where at one extreme you have a girl that has been anxiously waiting all night for a guy to approach her, and at the other, a girl who was allowed to skip the line and get in the club for free, has…

This is a common and powerful tactic in sales and influence. One of Dale Carnegie's rules in How to Win Friends and Influence People is to "Get the other person saying 'yes, yes' immediately." In old-school seduction it's called a yes-ladder, and the trick is to ask a series of questions that she will answer yes to, in an attempt to get her to say yes to a more unlikely proposal. "Do you like to have fun?" "Are you an outgoing person?" "Do you like to go on adventures?" "Come with me."

Yep, he's approaching it with such a oneitis mindset. Girls smell this from a mile a way and are disgusted by it. It's the three-second rule not the three-month rule. My advice is to convince yourself that you don't care about what happens with this girl before you go and approach her. I'd even go out the next two nights and pick up other girls while you forget about her. Aside from that, I've got to give you props for actually going for it. Just try not to be "inside your head" when you make th…

She's drops a lot of hints, I tell her if she's wondering why I haven't made a move, I'm just a gentleman. It sounds like this was the beginning of the end. If she was dropping hints so blatant that you had to make excuses for why you weren't making moves, you should have just made a move. Why did you verbalize that you realized you should have been making a move, and not just go in for the kiss? If she was making it clear that she wanted you to go for it, then you had the green light a long tim…

That episode was playing through my head as I read wazke's reply. Where are you living? Are you here? Are you on this planet? It's impossible. It can't be done. Thousands of years people have been trying to have their cake and eat it too. So all of a sudden the two of you are going to come along and do it. Where do you get the ego? No one can do it. It can't be done.

Agreed, this isn't a consequence of being good with women; it's the antithesis. Some of the first things you learn about game are the abundance mentality and to not let girls tool you. With either you should be well-equipped to see this coming well before it's become a problem. This really only happens to AFCs who are blinded by the fact that a girl is paying attention to them for the first time in their lives. It sucks that it happens, but don't blame it on the game. Treat it as a learning expe…

Some people in this community say that you shouldn't care what women think of you but I totally disagree. You can care, and we all obviously do at some level since we are here, but the key is to be outcome-independent. Sometimes it's not so easy to separate the two.

Don't worry about saying the perfect thing all the time. Also, don't dwell on what you should have said or how awesome it would have been if you came up with it sooner or how much a fool you are for not thinking of it earlier. Be present. Think in the now. You can't change what you said fifteen seconds ago, and most of the time it wouldn't have made any difference anyways. It's more about the general vibe that your giving off, not what you are actually saying. And girls can tell when you're worr…

If you are only communicating through text/FB, just follow standard texting protocol, but when she brings up her problems ignore her. Just don't respond. Other than that keep it playful and fun. Who's initiating conversation? If it's you then stop. Only text her if you're home on break trying to meet up, or maybe on special occasions like her birthday or something. Other than that just move on to other girls. There's a very good chance that nothing will ever happen with this girl, so accept it a…

I wouldn't call that the friend zone at all. Usually you never come out of the friend zone, even if you make something of yourself. You just get labeled for what you are and the girl looks elsewhere for her sexual needs. You're lucky if a girl keeps you around waiting for you to make a move or to change. The friend zone starts when she loses attraction or gives up on it, while you stick around supplicating her and fulfilling the emotional needs that the guy she's fucking won't. It's the point of…

But it goes even deeper than that. If you are faking your interests, you aren't being congruent with yourself, which is a huge turnoff. The great thing about inner game is that if your inner game is solid enough, you don't actually need any of that. It's just a very small part of everything that encompasses inner game. They are great tools for making yourself feel great, which leads to great results, but with a high level of inner game it isn't necessary. The point I was trying to make is that the whole miracle fruit thing makes for a great activity itself. Even if you meet the girl for dinner or happy hour, you can make a mini-date out of it, instead of just using it as a good tool to solve a common logistics problem - not that it isn't good for that too.

I wouldn't ask them to follow you. It would work better on someone who doesn't look like are headed anywhere in particular, like a group standing around talking, or a set sitting on a bench or in the food court. If you ask them where the music or movie store is, you start a conversation about music or ask them their opinion on a movie. I feel like I am the only one pressing for convo. They ask no questions about me or add to it. Juggler has a rule he calls the 90 - 10 rule. It basically says that you should, and will, be providing 90% of the conversation, and that you should only expect her to provide 10% of it. Don't go into a set expecting them to do most of the talking, and be ready to lead the conversation and keep it from going stale.

Have you heard of the Stylelife challenge? It sounds like what you describe. It's a 30-day exercise that I believe was part of Neil Strauss' Rules of the Game. I'm not too familiar with it, but I think it works like this: Every day, for thirty days, you are given a short lesson to read and learn, and also a task or challenge to go out and perform. It's goal is admittedly small--I believe that its claim is only that you'll get a follow-up date by the end of the 30-day period--but it is still good…

There really isn't anything to salvage here. Don't overthink your text convo. If you got the date, then mission accomplished. Proceed form here as normal. Besides, since you've known her for a while it's not like an off text is going to ruin your relationship. Act like nothing happened when you meet up with her. When it doesn't give you can say, "Wow, that's on there good!", and change the subject. This is the best opener so far. There are a few reasons why I think it's great. It makes it seem like she started the interaction; you are reacting to something she did. It puts her in that awkward situation you find yourself in when it seems like you've been caught staring at someone. Why would you want to be with an abusive partner? The most common answer to this is probably that the abuse develops later in the relationship and there is already an emotional attachment, I suppose. At first glance this seemed like a good way to look like a nerd by telling a boring story the girls don't want to hear, but after some thought I think this could work very well. If told in the context of pickup and with appropriate sexual energy, you could keep it interesting, and there are plenty of sexual and social threads to go on from there. I'd end it subtly inviting the girls to seek my approval just as the goddesses of the myth sought Paris'.

Sounds like buyer's remorse to me. Basically you took it too far before she was comfortable with it (although typical buyer's remorse is from escalating beyond kissing too quickly). Sounds like you got LJBFed as a result. Don't get hung up on it, there would be nothing more detrimental to your game. Ignore her for now, move on, fuck other girls. If you're lucky she may present an opportunity for you in the future (this may be in the far future), and you'll need to capitalize on this.

With #2 you shouldn't have been so forward by complimenting her looks immediately. It may have been an obvious situational opener, but you put her status on a level above yourself by saying that. You basically telegraphed too much interest too fast as others have stated. The name tease sounds like a good move though. She may have stuck around if you had used a different opener. The second you decide to walk over to her, you should be holding strong eye contact. Even if she doesn’t notice you, she’ll feel you. This seems contradictory to the notion that you don't want to be blatant with your approach. I've always been under the impression that you want to approach indirectly, such as not making a b-line straight for your target (unless you are given an approach invitation, of course). Can you elaborate on this?
