Nope. Those are memories. They are part of who I am. Why am I going to try to forget good memories at the time, events that shaped me for who I am??

The term catfish is a slang term that originated from the 2010 documentary and subsequent TV show of the same name. It refers to a person who creates a false online identity to deceive others, particularly in the context of online romances. Hmmm false profile to deceive others.. Look I get it. I’m divorced. But dude a fake profile to talk to your ex??? Like move onnnn. Go to court. Get it done

I use to swear it off. I’m young tho and truthfully would do it again. Yes it sucked. Yes I got burned emotionally and financially. But I’m not going to let that ruin me from taking a chance again with someone. I’ve learned a lot. And for the right person I would

My ring was from a Diamond necklace that my dad gave my mother. They divorced. I got ring from my wife side of the family that was from her grandparents who divorced. I designed a ring and had the two items brought together. The thought was great. We lasted 5 years married. Then divorced. Those stones are cursed hahahaha

The way I look at it is if I died tomorrow and my soul could reflect on my last few days. Would I be pissed this is how I felt my final days? And that out it in perspective. I own my mindset. I own what I do. Don’t get me wrong it sucked some days but I anchored to that and just kept trying new things. Ate healthy. Gym. Dates. It gets better. Trust me. It does.

The way I look at it. If I died tomorrow and my soul could look at how I spent my last day. Id be pissed if it was spent be sad, mad, etc. you don’t know when your last day is. Time to focus on self care. Get out there. Have fun. Live your life. We are all just trying to find happiness in the end. Can’t change what has happened or will happen but you can control your mentality.

Baha. My wedding ring came from both sides the family. My side was a Diamond my dad gave my mom (they are divorced) and hers was a grandmothers ring (they got divorced when he came out gay). Both gifted to me. Thought it was great to form a new ring from it. Bam we two are now divorced 😂😂

Title 100% matters. Mortgage doesnt. I was the only on mortgage. She was on the title via trust

Idk if hardest but most angriest. It had been numerous months since the convo. She was in school so we agreed to let her stay in the guest room till she finished her last year. I had covered all the bills since day one because she started her own business then decided to go back to school. I had moved on, I can’t fault anyone for not wanting to be with me. They think they can find more happiness elsewhere so be it. 3.5 billion other fish in the sea. Well I stay away one night and wake up to came…

You can try but she can turn it down. IMO (not a lawyer) no harm in trying to see if she will take it. And start there from negotiations. Has she said anything about what she wants and feels entitled too?
/r/Divorce_Men25/07/23 01:41 AM

Walk away and be the best you. She will see what she left. Focus on you king.

Yeah rates have jumped up. High yield savings is now near 5% rates. So if you have money in a joint account - emergency fund type. You def incur some money

The advice I got once is someone will always check 7 out of 10 boxes. You might find someone who checks the other 3 and jump ship. Well surprise… they too will probably only check 7 out of 10 boxes. Aka the grass isn’t always greener. But with that said, if you are unhappy or what not then ya you make a move

-How do they calculate date of separation? Day you file, day they are served, agreed upon date? -how long is the waiting period? 60 days, 6 months, etc -attorney fees plus court fees? -separate property? What counts? What doesn’t? -any impact of infidelity? If that occurred/your state factors that in? (Neither applied in my case) -do they offer mediation services to bring both parties together?

Yeah don’t suffer for the kids. They see it. My parents waited until they were empty nesters. I wish they did it sooner. Both are so much happier now. Also, thought about counseling? If you haven’t tried, I’d give it a shot. But that’s your call

Honestly I gave up trying to understand. I realize what I bring to life and a relationship. And if I were pass tomorrow I’d be pissed at myself for leaving the earth sad/numb/upset. There are so many people out there that deserve your love, kindness, etc. It’s tough but it isn’t worth wasting any more time. I wish you the best of luck.

Good to know. Mediator was talking about it. But she gave an extreme example during consultation. So just got me thinking. I figured as long as it’s ballpark they would agree

We were married 5 years. And you pretty much validated what I figured would be the case. We have been amicable for the most part and my parents had a costly contentious divorce so I definitely understand legal fees getting racked up. The house and joint account that I had been setting aside for student loans (while they were paused) are the biggest question marks. She planned to meet with a mediator/divorce attorney just for some guidance. She doesn’t want to pull the rug out from me or her so I…
