Judges know there's likely other factors that lead to your decisions that they don't know about. Mediation is great. I can't give you legal advice but when it was me, I held back one think I knew they really wanted and let it go at the last minute so I could get my way on almost everything else.

What you’ll want to do is get that 70/30 deal while groaning how it’s a 30/70 deal, forever. Definitely no new corvette in the next year. Yes if it’s done in mediation and it’s not totally completely lopsided, it will be rubber stamped.

If you say “gee that sounds great, I agree.” The woman will second guess every aspect of the agreement and might decide to go for a better deal. You need to leave her thinking this deal is awesome for her and shitty for you.
