She is who she chooses to be. That person is beneath you, understandably. Leave her there, move on, focus on your own improvement. Someday you will find someone with similar values as you and you will look back and laugh about how much better your life is now.

I filed for divorce with my wife. She was / is a narcissist. I knew it was the right choice. Even today though, 4+ years I am still very physically attracted to her. I honest try to avoid being around her much because of it. We have a child together so there is no complete avoidance option. Thankfully I am dating someone younger and so much easier to be with than her and she has very nice body as well. But it doesnt change the attraction that is always there.

Women, children, and dogs experience unconditional love. Men experience love under the condition that they provide something tangible.

She wants to fuck you over. Fuck her over instead. Stay calm and voice record all in-person situations if your state allows it. She could resort to trying to accuse your of DV or something. Never put it past them.

and you look after the kids as much as her? He is right. When a man brings up divorce, he hasnt thought much about it and is trying to find a way to fix things. When a woman brings up divorce, she has already thought about it for a long time, talked to her friends about it, and potentially even talked to a lawyer about it. You are in a rare situation where you will come out on top. the longer you wait though the longer you give her to concoct a story or change variables that will fuck you over. …

Same, 9 and a covert narcissist. I divorced her but it took me longer to get over her than her of me. My first 3 lays were all girls with her first name. Not planned at all haha. At this point I'd love to find someone that is an 8 but actually is caring and soft. FWIW though OP, yes, I have struggled at times. Especially when I think about certain features of her body that I just loved. Recently (took 1.5 years) Ive gotten to a point where I am so disgusted by how she treated me that I built a w…

For one, I had a feeling she would lie. So the moment I knew I was done w my marriage, I began taking pics and videos of everytime I changed a diaper, bathed the kids, fed them, got to to or out of bed. Not only that but the GAL interviews family members from both sides, and her sister told the GAL I was a good dad.

Initially she tried to tell the court I was an absent father. It was a lie. I hired a GAL who determined that I was a great father and deserved 50/50. This is in a state where it’s difficult for men to get 50/50. She was a complete narcissist and made the smallest things difficult, slandered and lied about me to others, it was miserable. Then something funny happened, we’ll it sucked but it worked out in my favor. She started secretly having an affair with her ex husband from before me (he was i…

I've been engaged twice, first one I broke off before marriage, second one I ended up divorcing after 1.5 years. I have a child with both. So 2 kids, 2 baby mommas, 1 divorce. I am also very insecure about how it looks to the outsider. I've done boat loads of therapy and self work since and can see all the mistakes and redflags I wish I had know about sooner. I have found it to be a turn off to younger women, who maybe don't quit realize what real life parenthood and marriage is like. However, I…

So why are you posting here about this situation then? If you are comfortable with it then what is the issue? edit: I dated a woman after her divorce where she told me she her ex was a narcissist and abusive. I helped her in every way I could. We ended up having a kid and getting married. In time, I found out that one night when they were supposed to be discussing parenting schedules, she had a slip up and cheated on me with him. I trusted her. After I divorced her, they ended up trying to get b…

You must be an absolute chad, live in huge city, or not have great standards. I say that w tongue in cheek. I'd be considered in the 90th percentile of men. I've only used OLD in the past 1.5 years and Hinge is the only one I can get matches on. Even then it can be rough. What sucks is that I live in a smaller city (250,000) and almost never see any good looking girls out and about, so cold approaches, which I am comfortable with, rarely happen.

Read the book "Attached".. she is clearly an avoidant attachment type. Trying to get closer to her will only push her away. You have to give her space, but if that does not honor yourself then find another woman.

Seems like you deleted your account, but if not- what is your first message usually? I have trouble getting a response from anyone. I usually try to comment on something from their profile. I have this exact same issue. I’ve been trying to figure out.. is it (1) I needed to be less needy to the higher value women to not scare them away or (2) because they are higher value, did they just have way more options and therefore it fizzled… I think it’s more 1 than 2 but I don’t know for sure

Pull back so that she is doing 60-75% of the initiating. I’ve tried 50/50 and it doesn’t work.

Lol Bro I went through this last week. Was texting with this girl all day for weeks ( l first mistake). I even had years of high value and strong frame over her. As soon as I started to match her 50/50 on imitation and texting more, she started to go colddd. We even had a date set up but I could feel the cold and decided to bail. I’ve pulled back to match her energy, so we have not texted in over a week now. I also muted her IG feed so I’m not tempted to watch. Initially I did it in hopes of get…

If she keeps reaching out begging to be a bit more playful and fun, but keep texting to just a few back and forth. Maybe once a week tell her you are excited to see her when you get back. Don’t immediately ask to hang out when you get back, wait a few days so you don’t seem needy. Unless she is the one asking, then you can maybe do it day 2. No matter what day you have things to catch up on when you are back. If she is initiating enough in a few weeks, offer a fear time. It’s funny how easy it i…

Sorry man. My ex wife was also a covert narcissist. Luckily I gained the strength to leave her after 3 years. Divorcing her became even more toxic than being married to her. A year and half later and I still deals w daily shit. Can’t wait till I don’t have to raise a child w her. Pure evil. I actually wrote a book about my experience, some twists in there that drop jaws. Another good book on this is “The Third Gift”. I talked to this author on the phone. Keep your head up man. It’s tough, but yo…

I had nearly the same situation happen last week, the girl said she was on the rocks w her bf. We exchanged a bit on IG after that then I said “hit me up if/when you are no longer tied down” and left it at that.

Actually the one chick it worked with we talked for months on IG. However I do tend to try for numbers instead of long talks on IG maybe I’m old fashioned but IG convos are common but getting a number feels more secure. Doesn’t mean it’s the right move tho just my opinion

NMMNG should be required reading for every man.
/r/Divorce_Men26/10/21 01:45 AM

The best thing I did was read splitting before filing for divorce. I was prepared for all the accusations. I was able to counter all of them with proof and evidence to the contrary. It helped that I was friends w her before dating and saw all the accusations she had towards her ex husband before so I knew exactly what she would say w me and easily was documenting things (ie multiple pictures a day of me doing a lot of the care for our child knowing she’d say I was absent), etc.

This resonates so much. I’m sorry you went through this but after it’s all said I’m done I do think it will make us stronger and smarter. It’s like these people have a virus that infiltrates and controls their actions they all operate so similarly.

I think they (a lot of them) have always been that way. It’s hardwired into them to need safety, someone to help provide for them and their children. Part of the reason you are making these women “feel this way” is because you are so focused on yourself, you are congruent rather than “needing” a women to attach to. Do not commit to a woman of you are not emotionally able to, it will destroy you both. Maybe you already have, but I would make it super super clear from the get go to anyone you date that you are not fully emotionally available yet and any relationship that could result would go ultra ultra slow do to that.
