TL;DR: Pros: Did all my gym days. Cons: Slacked with school work. Seriously need to start working on it.

Excellent update. One advice for approaching: you can start with approaching guys first, because it is generally easier, than girls.

It is a goal only if you make it a goal. TRP doesnt have rules (for example “dont masturbate"). Generally its ok to masturbate, but do it every now and then, not daily.

You are only seeing the good stuff (she asked me out), but dont forget about the bad stuff (no kiss, LJBF hug). To me it looks like she was interested before the date, but then something went wrong and she wasnt interested anymore after the date, hence the hug.

Roughly 2 and a half years ago. But don't pull any conclusions from this regarding how much it will take you, you and I are not the same.

Feels good to come from being sick back to active lifestyle. After being sick for 2 weeks, I really saw how many events I missed and how my body changed for the worse (less muscles, more fat - I will get back in shape in no time, guaranteed.). While I had no trouble being completely alone for weeks pre-TRP ("Introvert to the core"), now I really missed friends, gym and all the good stuff. Makes you think if "i'm an introvert!" guys are really just making excuses why not to get out of their comfo…

I partly disagree with OP. Well, for the most part i agree. The first half of the post is 99% correct (how to stop if she's not into you). But, If you drop a woman the moment she's not giving you what you expect/want from her, you're only going to get sluts and one night stands, a.k.a. easy girls. And then you're going to come on TRP and post about how all women are sluts. Ofcourse they are, if all that you get is them. AWALT is always correct. But it doesn't mean all girls are exactly the same.…

Too many pictures. Too many pictures with just you -> boring. The one with the dog is acceptable, so keep that. For others, put one from social event (so they see you have a life), possibly one with girl(s) (preselection). Use quality pictures, if you want with some filters. EDIT: if you're shredded, put one where you're topless (but not a selfie!).

If she makes you happy (happier than having a harem), then let her stay. In the end, being "RP" means being a happy man.

Whatever, let the betas analyze the chaos of female behavior. I knew it all along, TBP was right, TRP is a bunch of betas who get damaged goods. On a more serious note, I get what you meant with that sentence - overthinking and/or overanalyzing her.

Alright, my update: Good stuff: On Tuesday it was the first time that I went home with a girl (from a party). We didn't fuck because I didn't have condoms, but we still had some fun (just to be clear, non-platonic fun). Next day I invited to take her to the beach. I wanted to go for some time, but none of my friends had time, so I invited her. We had a great time, I hold frame and all that shit. This was also the first time I went somewhere with a girl (just the 2 of us) for a whole day. Sort of…

TRP's progress is interesting. Not too long ago there were posts about how to be dark triad. Now there are posts about courage, honor, loyalty and strength, to be virtuous.

Fantastic article, I really enjoyed it. I think TRP "follows" hard AWALT (it's static, all women will do the same in given situation), which I don't think is true, so I am starting to migrate toward soft AWALT. Not trying to brag or show off about how I'm different than you (I'm still beta in a lot of ways), I'm just stating my opinion. One question though, you didn't seem to explain woman's "I'm not happy" stage. I haven't heard that one before, what does it mean?

The problem I face is that after college i will live in small town, where I have job lined up, so I won't be able too meet all those "20s out of college partying, making new friends, having sex, enjoying life, and making money along the way". It goes the same for you: just because you live in big town, it doesn't mean everyone lives in big town.

Good stuff: took swing dancing class read a chapter of "bachelor pad economics" book lost oneitis (thank to /u/MattyAnon) went to party where I knew noone, had a great time successfully finished hardest exam Bad stuff: got oneitis (actually it was 2 weeks go, but still had it) spending too much time on computer for fun

Hey, thanks for this wonderful comment. I admit I think about her too much ("this one girl" or one-itis syndrome), but I read your comment several times a day and keep repeating to myself that she is only an option, nothing more. I think it helps. But I'm still gonna try to fuck her. I will most likely fail, but it will be success, because I will make my intentions clear.

No but seriously, i dont see other way. You either go for it or you dont. Or are you implying i can't get her because we're friends and it's allready too late for me, that she allready sees me as a friend?

Hi, i have a similar problem than op, i hope u dont mind replying 2 months after. I have a female friend and i want to have something more with her than being friends. I wanted to tell her that i like her as a girl too, and ask her out and/or ask her how she feels toward me. Is this ok move or should i skip the talk and just ask her out and try to get a kiss/sex/anything thats not platonic?

Other commenters agree with you, now when I have clearer head, I realize I overanalyzed everything. It may or may not be true, but I have no proof of that. The thing I don't want to happen is that she'll think I am not interested in her, because I didn't escalate. I guess I'll see if this is true next time.

Nothing good will ever come.....from having female "friends." Hanging around girls makes you look like a loser to everyone around you. Thank you for your comment, Mr. Tomassi, but I am still not convinced. The article comes from an angle that men turn "quality women" thoughts into unicorn or oneitis. But I don't think that applies to me. Vetting, "red flags" etc are all things you use, as he puts it, to "try and use the red pill to achieve blue pill goals." Vetting and red flags are used to filter "bad" girls out of our life. This is one of the core TRP foundatios - not falling for first girl who gives you attention. If this screams blue pill to you, than let's say we agree to disagree. You are, right now, as he says, looking for validation and confirmation from true red pillers for your blue pill views. I couldn't give less of …

Just read it, and I in now way think like Mitch did. All I'm saying is there are bad quality girls (the ones a lot of TRP posts focus on) and good quality girls (they ones TRP says are "unicorns" and shame you for being blue/purple pill). AWALT applies to both.

I don't know if I got the point of OP's post (reformatting it would be helpful, like adding "lessons learned" section at the end), but I think that it's wrong to divide women to "those typical AWALT whores, who will cheat on you the first time they are bored" and unicorns. So called Red Pill Women (as OP defined her) exist. AWALT still applies to them - they can cheat on you, they can divorce you, etc. - but they are far from "those typical AWALT whores" that TRP (and OP) warn us about. Maybe it…

A lot of people get so hung up on doing everything perfectly without regrets that the miss out entirely, or second guess themselves meaninglessly. Some personal real world example: When I started taking dancing classes, I was 100% focused on dancing just the right way, doing all so called images (the moves that you do with your feet) perfectly. As there are betas and chads, there are sluts and good girls. Understand what AWALT means - not that women are sluts fucking new chad every day, divorcing their husbands ASAP, being bitchy to betas and so on. It means they are have the capacity to be like that. Good girls are very unlikely to do all that. I'm not new to TRP, so don't try to put this "you're just looking for a unicorn" argument on me. I've seen good girls being totals bitches and getting away with it, I had opportunity to fuck gi…

You don't KNOW that. You can only assume she did those things. I know there is sweet karma on TRP for saying "that girl is a slut", but there is no point in making girls sluts in your mind (to a certain point, as long as you don't pedestalize them), because then no girl is good enough for you. Where does this lead you?

Great read. As someone who's aiming to become a teacher, I thank you for this advice. Exactly what a lot of TRP guys dont understand. A lot of people here think they must act tough, alfa, no feelings, all those things. But it's not who they are, they're just doing it because they want success with women. They're being manipulative, and while "fake it till you make it" is a good thing, I want to point out the double standard that they have: Their goal is to trick women with this tips and tricks that they've read, and when they see a girl being manipulative towards them, they go fu…

First of all, I LOVE this post. Bookmarked it. I have some input though. "I am enough" vs "i am better than everyrone" I am guilty of having 2nd mindframe. I think that just because I know of TRP (and "the truth"), eat well, have hobbies and lift, I am better than everyone. Then I see a younger, better looking guy and I get depressive. Men want to have sex with as many women as possible while avoiding the avoiding the consequences. Women on the other hand want to have sex with men who have the best genetic material and acquire resources to support the resulting offspring. I listened to Stefan Molyneux and his video series: gene wars. He said there are 2 types of reproduction: r and k types. R type is "spray and pray" - produce as much offspring as you can and just hope they make it to adulthood. The K type is nurturing type - …

I'm interested what OP's sources are. Particularly because there is some stuff I disagree with. For instance: Here's why... when you focus on the small details; keeping your shoulder back, or having a good posture, you very well may present an image of confidence. Great, so why am I saying throw it out then? Well, your mindset doesn't match your body language. You're micromanaging how to keep your limbs, posture, and tone your voice. This is actually counter productive to the overall "mission" o…

I completely agree, especially with: especially for beginners it is the fact that simple, large compound movements are chosen... If we agree that large compound movements are good for beginners, than it should make sense, that deadlift is better than rack pull (which is, as you said, 'partial deadlift'). But I am your typical bodybuilder (i dont have clients, nor knowledge in kinesthesiology), so in the end you have more knowledge than I do. I'm only stating what doesn't make sense in my head.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/16 01:10 PM

I'd say to each his own. Some bodies (people) respond better to rack pull, some better to bentover rows / yates rows / chinups / deadlift/ etc. There is no "this one is the best!".

What you wrote: I took a totally reactive verbal stance, didn't say more than what was required to answer any questions, and nodded in agreement to minor points. What you don't understand is, even a person not leading a conversation is bringing something to it, implying there is a conversation in the first place. If you tell your SO to "say no more than what is required and to just nod", you won't be able to have a conversation with her. Conversation cannot be pure one sided, it's a relationship…

I dare you to try the other way around: tell her to only answer you by nodding or giving short answers (yes/no/don't know/...). Then try to lead a conversation with her. I guarantee you, that you will fail as well. Because in this case (and in OP's case), the passive person is only trying to kill a conversation, not actually maintain it.

I agree debt is not nice to have, but an average person can't really avoid it. For instance, me: I am 25, looking to move out of my parents house in 2-3 years. I can't afford to buy an apartment without getting a loan. I'm not looking for anything expensive (70k max), but I'd like to own my place and loan is the only way to get that.

I agree about the askTRP problem. If the question is woman related, 99% of the time the comments will be "just next her bro". Not because they actually thought that through, but because it's "cool" to say it. I remember GayLubeOil wrote how majority of people on askTRP are betas who don't want to improve, just bitch and get simpathy. Not everyone is like that there, but I from personal experience, the majority are. It's the equivalent of relationships sub saying "leave him, you deserve better" t…

Sure I wanna see those refugees just turn around and go back to their shitty country. It won't happen. They won't leave. There will be more rape, more violence, it will create tension between swedish people and immigrants, and it will escalate to violence.

My last paragraph was usual argument, about how big majority of married men are not happy with their life. I've never seen marriage like you just described it. Ofcourse I want that kind of relationship, but I feel like it's just a Disney dream. Same as you can't get unicorn woman - because there are none.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say, that even VR sex games won't be "it". Sure, it's a little more real, but you dont get to touch woman's body, only look. Which is the same as the porn we have now.

While I'm not nullifying your argument, it reads like blue pill thinking. That said, I won't shut down my brains because of that. When you said "marriage makes us whole", you meant 1 man and 1 woman being with each other, not the marriage legal contract between the two, right? About the family argument, my problem is that I know one family, where a husband is at least somewhat happy (or just gives that vibe). This odds are clearly not good for me, so why should I still go in this marriage/family…

I supposed your really live(d) in a big city? Or did you change apartment every year? Besides, did you work in smaller companies? Because I think in bigger ones, you need at least 1,5 years to get a grip of how things work.

I agree, if a man and woman want to make a legitimate children, then they need to get married. But I feel it's a weak argument, at least I've never heard anyone say that. I'm more fond of an argument made in TRP some time ago - to lock down pussy for a man and taking care of woman. Which brings me back to my original comment - this argument (pussy and money/time) partly doesn't hold anymore, which is why marriage, as you said, marriage doesn't exist today.
/r/TheRedPill23/08/16 06:22 PM

Sure, but you can say goodbye to them anytime with no hurt feelings. Men usually emotionally connect with girlfriends, so it's not as easy.

Isn't that what marriage 1.0 was about, and is now dead? We see deadbedrooms stories daily on TRP, women telling their husbands to do house chores ("because that is sexy!"), and meals... i dont know man, how many young women's tasty meals have you had? I don't think it's right to thing of having a gf as "I give her money, time, etc., and she gives me sex and clean house." It's supposed to be like that, but marriage is dead.
/r/TheRedPill23/08/16 10:29 AM

The more you expect from her, the less either of you two will get from each other. I'm having a hard time understand this part. If we (men) are supposed to be self reliant and not expect anything from women or girlfriends, why would we need/want them? Every relationship brings something to all people in this relationship - what do we, men, get (expect?) out of relationship with girlfriends? This has been on my mind for the last week and I can't come up with the answer.

An additional tip on how to speak lower: Try to concentrate on your neck and saying something (for example, "yes"). The voice will be quite high. Now concentrate on your chest and say the same word(s). You might hear the first time that your voice is lower, deeper, more manly. You will notice your vocal cords will be lower. Maybe it will even help if you open your neck more (like when you yawn). Practice this type of speaking to get deeper voice. Add in slower, louder speaking and you get manly …

So beside carrying a helmet I must wear a backpack too? Seems like it solves and issue by providing a new one. It's not comfortable, because it's the first generation. If VR stays and we get new, better generation, then it will be like OP is saying. But for now, only the biggest geeks will use it at home. This is my prediction anyway.

I am in CS and was very interested in upcoming VR. But I think it will be the same as 3D movies - at first it will be a lot of "uuuuh" and "aaaaaa", but after a while people won't use it anymore because it won't be able to be widely used. Remember how 3D glasses are heavy to wear, give people headaches, etc. ... 3D went to shit because of it. I think VR has the same problems, plus all those cables are really in the way of immersion. Don't forget you need bigger room.

The natural consequence of this is that a lot of guys get discouraged and quit I can see the reason behind it, but if your goal is to actually learn how to dance (like mine was), you will get past that point in a couple of weeks (at least I did). It depends where you are from and how good looking people are around you. It's all relative. You are slightly above average in Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden), but 9 or 10 in China. I think you have very good genes and if your mentality is right, yoz can become top 5-10% easily. Keep in mind though, looks are not as important to women as they are to men. I think this thread needs some lets-get-back-to-earth comment. Yes, lifting will improve your life - you will be more manly, have more confidence, be more attractive, etc. You WON'T suddenly become this god walking among mortals. OP most likely has good genes to start with, going to the gym is only a cherry on top. Lifting will make your life easier, but you'll still have to do stuff to get stuff (e.g. approach girls to get them).

I don't really understand the practical difference in indirect vs direct approach. For direct approach OP said You approach a girl, let her know you are interested in her and she will either share your feelings or reject you. So you walk up to her and say "hey, I'm interested in you, let's hang out/dance/have a drink"? While with indirect approach, you just make smalltalk, not showing her that you're interested?

Hey, men -- take a look at how many females identify with the struggles of this woman. It's an embarrassment to our gender. Eh, just turn around their logic. "Are you saying women are not strong and independent enough to live such bad men on their own?"
/r/TheRedPill10/04/16 08:48 PM

I realized my metaphor doesn't hold strong ground, but I still wrote it because I think it illustrated almost perfectly how nice guys work. Also I expanded "nice guys" meaning to more broad description - people who act fake only to get something out of other people (and no, TRP is not necessary like that, we still love women for who they are, not secretly hate them).
/r/TheRedPill10/04/16 04:24 PM

This can be correlated to how nice guys treat women. Your family member would only be nice to your grandfather, if they knew he will leave them his "stuff" (sorry, don't know a better word) after his death. Nice guys are only nice to girls because they want sex from them. The moment they see her banging other dude, she's a whore, a slut, like garbage to them ("I invested so much into her, why doesn't she fuck me?"). As author of NMMNG would say, this is covert contract. They're not nice because …

For instance, this one. You can google "Music research studies" or something similar. About the "influences one's life", I worded it akwardly, I'm not a native english speaker so I struggle with finding the right words. Basically I wanted to say music has positive effect on a person.
/r/TheRedPill08/03/16 09:44 PM

I'd argue you're going too harsh into this experiment. Listening to music is not bad, in fact it's the opposite. There are numerous experiments that proven how music positively influences one's life. Also, there is a famous thread on TRP, saying you shouldn't do too many things (for self improvement) at the same time. You'll get back to your old way of leaving way easier. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, I was thinking of letting that smiley out, but then message actually looked like I am serial killer. Look: "I'm not a serial killer if that's what you worry about". It's cold, plus I dont think she'd get it that it's just a joke. I guess I'm still to insecure about not using smilies.

Hence "Just keep in mind it's not enough.".

Nothing wrong with PUA stuff though. Just keep in mind it's not enough.

I dont get it. If you put them on your tab, than you're going to have to pay for them at some point in near future?

Is wiki's description of the book enough for tl;dr? link I'm interested in this topic, but if I can save time by just reading wiki (and getting the same out of it as from the book), I'd do it.

Thanks for response, but I'm still not convinced, because I remember last time I tried that. I was on a date with a girl, we were talking, having fun and all that, when I wanted to touch her (and I did). But it was so out of context and random, that she gave me that confused (but not blaming/negative) "what the fuck was that?" look. Maybe you're gonna bring up "it's just one girl, dude" argument, but I think it's really my problem with when to touch.

Now most guys would have been friendly on the date, and gotten nowhere. Exactly what I did on my last date (1st tinder date actually, still dont know if I should write FR because it was so generic). We were just talking and having a drink, nothing more. I didn't know how to break physical barrier. Touching her randomly is a no no, because it's cringe(y?), so you need some "excuse" to touch her. I just couldn't find any.

Thanks for FR, but I dont understand why you tagged just the band on that picture. What was the point?

Allright, did just that ("Monday 10pm. I'm holding you on that first round"). She sent some flirty text back ("you're holding me? ;)", but I wont respond to it. So for now, my plan is to wait till monday and call her to confirm the date. Can you help me, like u just did, on monday? Can I PM you then?

I followed your second advice, because I like it and because I want to get some experience with all this (I'm very inexperienced with dating and girls, and faking it and reading about it will only take me so far). So I responded to her: "ok but you'll pay for round :)", and she replied: "I will :). Just tell me when :)". Do I still make her suggest another day or should I lead?

All I need is food, shelter and socializing.

Maybe that's why most feminists are fat. They need more food for the hamster.

I remember in college when the subject was about helping other people, my (female) professor said "the best way to help someone is to just listen to them (not actively trying to come up with solutions).". I was like "wtf? Dont we solve problems by coming up with solutions, not just listening to "whining"?" (it was before I found RP)

Thanks, I'll do that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
