As a realtor I encounter a lot of different kinds of people & I try to be as accommodating for everyone as possible. However i draw the line when it comes to my health concerns and if someone isnt wearing their masks or taking precautions (or i know they are antivax) i refuse to work with them.

Not by that much, I do think it’s slightly better in the denser cities. Lived in Niagara Falls and dated a guy like the description above & generallu everyone was like that there. Moved to Toronto and it seems the market is a bit better; men try to look good, respect women, care about the environment etc

I love how FDS is thought of as old fashioned for havingn this perspective when there’s actually distinctions in the updated DSM 5 that includes fetishism and BDSM as disorders. https://thriveworks.com/blog/sexual-sadism-disorder/

This is wonderfully written and describes my mother very well LOL Id just like to add I guess they’re in denial about how bad things are for them to a certain extent; i.e if all women have to go thru it it’s easier for them to accept their own lives?

This post & comment hit the nail on the head! Of course things are better than they were during their time...isnt that what we’re supposed to be striving for? My biggest dream is that my daughters will have an easier time than me in life & that’s why im trying to shove pick meisha tendancies so I can be a better role model. Our goal should be to teach the next generation how to not make the same mistakes we did & it’s so disheartening when I see the boomers behaving this way. I used to be a pick…

Also you CAN make a hoe into a housewife! Women very often change when they have a baby but i’ve yet to see a man make this change (i.e. men seem to continue to be irresponsible regardless of whether they have a child or not).

This is so true! I think we’re definitely making a difference i’m seeing the vernacular showing up on regular platforms like facebook and instagram. Women using terms such as “pick me” and “LVM”. Its happening!!!

This. A lot of us havent progressed as far as you fantastic gals & may still need help in the starting stages. I joined FDS a while ago but ive stayed celibate for the most of 2020 since i wanted to use the quarantine times to work on myself. I am just now starting back on the dating game again so found this post very helpful thanks OP!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/21 06:18 PM

Maybe the flair was wrong but i found this very helpful as this helps weed out LVM as well. Sometimes us gals can get fooled by supposedly HVM behaviour, especially as men are more than willing to put on an act to get into a womans pants. Before getting anywhere, setting boundaries is a good way to test out the degree of HVM traits and sometimes its hard to know what the right thing to do is. I ghost men all the time when they dont suit my needs but lots of women think im being mean or tell me i…

Yes exactly. It’s the beggers choosing argument: you shouldn’t be insulting someone’s job if you’ve done “worse” in the past. Especially if your new hubby is not aware of it, maybe dont put yourself in that position? What was she expecting the reply to be? “Ur right cousin, its not like youve done any immoral things in your jobs right?” I feel like the porn thing would’ve eventually come up whether it be outburst or the hubby getting sus and asking questions later

LOOOL i just went on a first date couple days ago with a guy who seemed nice and then dropped the “havent had sex in a year & ur rly hot” line and i said “that’s not rly my issue..” and walked away. Im very glad to have found this sub so i had confidence to do that but it makes me curious as to what they’re expecting out of us; “OMG POOR U NOT HAVING SEX FOR -insert amount of time- LIFE MUST BE SO DIFFICULT FOR U”.

You’re theirs’**** it wouldn’t be so bad if they wanted to be ours. I wouldn’t mind being the sole breadwinner but men cannot live with this dynamic. They usually aren’t able to supress their egos and have dinner ready when you get home or the kids washed or whatever women have been doing for the last however long lol

Damn this kind of stuff is so depressing. I thought of FDS as a safe space free of misogyny but I guess there’s no where to run away from that. One step forward, two steps backwards.

so I've always wondered the same thing. The comment is right about them not making a big deal about it however I've noticed that guys with deep voices usually tend to be bigger. I've tested this theory out with guys with not so deep voices and was correct every time. It's probably not 100% true since there are always anomalies but its something. Try it out!

I matched with a guy who said he was 32 while i was early 20s. Even though he was a little out of my age range he was very good looking in his pictures and as we started texting and talking over the phone he seemed really cool and felt like we had a good connection. About a week later when we met he was clearly not 32. He was definitely late 40s/early 50s or possibly older looking. He admitted he was actually 52 and had used old pictures for his profile. That was pretty much the first guy I ever…

You say "if you can't afford to go on a date, don't go on one", I'm assuming you're saying that about me...I dont have financial issues and honestly I've asked women out before (I'm bisexual) and I paid for the whole thing because I asked. Also, I mean that was the literal sentence a lot of FDS commenters were saying about him i.e. "if you can't afford to take a girl out, then dont..." I've been on dates that were really awkward (as first dates sometimes are) and I was fully prepared to pay and …

Is that exactly how sad as that sounds: he'll wait 90 days to post about this stupid incident?? It's a little late to go out with him, it was too late by monday, which is why I posted it then lol but damn after 90 days I'm probably gonna forget about this...

Right??? I can't believe I was even thinking of second guessing myself.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 01:02 AM

This username (rainbowforeskin) I purposely made so no one could find it. Even if they stumbled upon it, hopefully they'll assume its a gay dude and move on. I don't have IG but all my other social media uses my name, which makes it very easy to look up, which is why I never post anything personal there. Reddit was the one place I thought I could be myself and post whatever but I guess unluckily that wasn't the case this time. I wish there was a way of making Reddit private.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 01:02 AM

Possible theory, which is why I was confused and thought maybe it was just a coincidence but honestly I'm going to go with the rest of the comments and bet he's probably just a lurker and either RP or MGTOW or something equally shitty.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 12:59 AM

Yeah pretty much. Either reason makes me put off by him...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 12:58 AM

I guess that was what my confusion was about. Which is why I waited a few days to post this one incase he was reading this too. At this point it's waay too late so I don't really care if he sees this. I'm going with your second assumption now that I unluckily just happened to have gone on a date with a damn lurker trying to prove FDS doesn't work or whatever he's trying to prove. Bizarre out of my brain lady damn what are the chances???
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 12:58 AM

Agree with you 100%. At this point i'm not sure I care whether he reads or not, it's too late at this point for contact.

That's what I'm thinking honestly. I'm so happy for all the comments here because it just confirms my gut feeling, which was absolutely creeped out when he said he saw my post. Within a couple of hours of posting no less.

Honestly before the phone call I had written him off completely but after him explaining his side I guess I decided to give him a chance. Definitely know not to do that for upcoming events.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/20 12:53 AM

This is the answer I was basically looking for. The way he made it sound was that he stumbled upon it, but my gut told me he's a lurker. Thanks sis!

Which is why I waited until it was too late to post this. I was confused from the moment we hung up the phone but I waited a few days to post it because even if he contacts me now it's a bit too late. The reason for the post is just for advice on how to avoid this type of thing for next time: i.e. should I have stayed longer in the date, should I have picked up the phone after? The answers to which I understand is no, but I like posting about it for confirmation and also because I've just had ba…

Not sure which part you're referring to, but everything I'm saying is 100% true. I posted the first one on FDS because I didn't know if I did the right thing or not (still learning). I posted this one because of the events that happened afterwards, which I'm finding kind of confusing. His part: I never mentioned I had an account on reddit, I never mentioned anything close to hinting at my username etc. so I have no clue how he found it. He said it was just on his page randomly. He's a psychotherapist, wearing a cashmere sweater and had leathery looking shoes, so I'm pretty sure he wasn't broke. I think it's just the dating lots of women at the same time thing.

What does equal rights have to do with paying for a fucking first date?? Men will use anything for their own benefit. If you can't afford to pay for your date's stuff, don't ask them out!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/01/20 04:19 AM
11

I guess he wasn't acting too romantic but we did meet through OLD...and he asked a lot of 'first date' questions. Regardless though, I've had guy friends before and they always insist on paying.

It was by person, as in I paid for what I ate and he paid for himself. It's been a couple of hours since the date but he hasn't contacted me since. BOY BYE
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/01/20 03:23 AM
60

Exactly! It's not even an old fashioned thing, I agree with this part of FDS so much because its just a common courtesy; if you invited someone to your house for dinner, regardless of whether its a date or not, would you ask them to reimburse you for the food? It's like the most basic requirement of being a person.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/01/20 03:14 AM
26

He didn't ask first or look at me or even wait 1 second before answering the waitress, it was as if by instinct he just automatically said "separate". I did actually have my wallet, and if the date hadnt gone so well I wouldn't have even bothered hinting. I was giving him a chance to salvage himself but he didnt take it. Our totals were not the same at all, because I ordered much less than he did, didn't get alcohol etc.

Im glad the point is getting accross. Im sick of hearing/seeing people [women] complain about their features. Believe me, part of it is men insulting us so they can control us. They already know we’re better than them, stronger, more beautiful, smarter. If we know it and own it then they’ll never be able to put us down and that scares the semen out of them!

Yes but the message remains. Learn what your aspects are and make them your strengths. Overweight? put emphasis on yo big T&A. Too thin? Embrace the heroin chic style. Its not about what you look like, but rather how you present yourself and your outlook on life.

Yes but the point of this post is that most women DO have to take these types of precautions and then they still get raped. If you read the comments in this post, about peoples experiences and then that Fran Dresher story. You could be sitting at home with a friend drinking wine in your pjs and still get raped.

Having faith is great. Believing in God or Allah or a higher power is great. But I feel like a lot of organized religion (especially the fundamentalists) is geared towards controlling or supressing women and their spirits.

Damn sis! I thought I was the only one because I come from a Muslim background, where the patriarchy is strong. Im so so happy this sub exists and is growing everyday.

I love Melissa Mcarthy!! She and some other plus size actresses like Allison Tolman & Mindy Kaling gave me hope because they weren’t playing traditional “joke” roles that normally bigger girls play on tv.

Amen Sister! The things on this stupid pic are literally things any self respecting person should be doing naturally: are you supposed to be rude to your spouse's mother? are you NOT supposed to spend time with your son? But I guess if you're asking for a favour outside of this stuff, you shouldn't have to ask more than once.

This is such a huge thing. It seems like women’s rights doesnt exist in that society. Coming from a Muslim background, women are meant to basically serve men, from their fathers to husbands and nothing more. Cheating and abusive men are just “what men do” and as a woman you must accept it and be grateful he’s chosen to not murder you. Fuck im glad to be out!

This is sickening. I’ve actually had sex with a man after the first couple of dates because I was worried he wouldn’t want to see me anymore or do this kind of bullshit. Fuck these piGs

Yep. The media drills this in so men can have an easy life doing nothing while women have to handle it all and look pretty whilst.

100% If the man is HV, they would do things without having to ask more than once. Pop culture unfortunately generally makes it seem like women have to settle for LV men. Its just the stupid male fantasy; as if no matter how fat they get, they can score beautiful, high value women.

Men dont want a lady with a past because they dont want anyone with agency or options. This is why they like young girls and want virgins so that whatever bullshit they spew will be accepted. Have you ever tried to figure out why this exists? Since the dawn of 'civilized' humanity, women have been expected to be beautiful virgins that obey all the men in their lives from their fathers to their husbands. The reason why it was "accepted as the unvarnished truth." was because women essentially had no say in how society runs. Patriarchy over the years has forced women to 'play hard to get' instead of just saying what's on her mind, lest she be labeled as the negative 'whore', while men a…

You're not wrong about this, it's something that FDS is trying to change. We are trying to promote this exact thing. Looking for a man with a higher socioeconomic status does not mean we have to be submissive or obedient to that man. We are hoping that by educating more and more women, the 'rarity' you speak of will be lower and it'll be more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 07:57 PM

Pretty much OP. It's still a good question because we have to keep reiterating and remembering for new members. Unfortunately sometimes even HVW forget and make pick-meistakes. Keep on learnin' n growin' ladies!

We do the same...TRP has been around a lot longer and a lot of women don't understand that it's just game and they're being played so therefore we need to help each other out and figure out how come out of being a low value woman. We are also 'going out to the field' and 'applying' our own theories with men. The community is just a lot newer than TRP so we need to build our 'customer base' first before shooing away potential FDSers. We also do comment on a lot of 'seeking advice' posts with 'gir…

Very true lol waiting around for something to happen never really benefited anyone. Ideally yes, a high value man would be mostly responsible for taking care of the family but what about before then? How am I supposed to get a high value man if I myself am not a high value woman (which includes taking care of yourself)? Also, what happens when I find my man cheating with the nanny? If I have no earnings myself I would be forced to stay in that situation. Debt? I'm sorry you have so much debt, an…

I dont think men will ever understand this. 'Sexual harassment is everything from being made uncomfortable to rape' yea lol because being made uncomfortable by a coworker is fine right? Also obviously I (and most sane women) understand the difference between complimentary flirtation and harassment. Well marriage in general is kind of an unnatural thing. I'm pretty sure early humans only stayed together until the child was of survival age- so like 5 or 6 years old..

You're correct about the types of people etc. But it's difficult to meet the correct person at the correct time & place; i.e. same city, similar lifestyles. You can be the best of friends, the most compatible two people but be separated by jobs, schools etc. Also, a lot of times the other person isn't interested in the same kind of relationship & a myriad of other problems. Musical chairs is the most efficient way to figure out which chair is for you. It sucks that that's a common misconception.…

Literally describing the social structure of third world countries and fundamentalist religious people...if the goal is having a baby then women would just settle but I think the whole point of FDS is having that NOT be the goal in an evolved society. Meeting someone you actually want to spend your life with is much more difficult than getting pregnant.

Couldn't the same thing be said about TRP strategies? There's no shortage of posts on TRP subreddit and it's been around longer... These strategies exist to correct these problems, i.e. turn trashy pick-meishas into women of high value, just like TRP believes that following red pill strategies can turn a "beta" man into an "alpha".

Turkey IS a human-rights shit-show but I was just using an example, that abuse is prevalent regardless of country: for example Canada (where I am & where that whole thing with my father happened). Here are some statistics for Canada, where laws are there and people are supposedly civilized:http://www.women.gov.on.ca/owd/english/ending-violence/domestic_violence.shtml Ofcourse men get murdered, and it sucks, the world is just terrible. "As long as expectations are clear for all parties before anyone dumps in resources" I get where you're coming from, but that's rarely how it works. It's very rare that men actually tell a woman straight to her face that he will sleep with her once and never call again, because if that was the case most women would not be interested. Unfortunately sometimes there are men who do this and some women still respond to it, however it's usually because of societal pressures: daddy issues/a lot of movi…

I think you're wrong about that. A lot of abuse actually happens in 'upper middle class' or in 'rich' communities but are hidden from society to 'save face'. Coming from a dad who's net worth is upwards of 20 million, I can tell you he was very physically abusive. (I'm not making this up for the sake of this argument, you can check my post history). I feel like TRP will be cancelled out if every woman was to adopt FDS strategies; i.e. if guys knew for a fact that they're not going to be able to 'pump n dump' then they would only ask out women they actually wanted a relationship with. The problem actually arises because there are low value women or 'pick-meishas' who do the opposite of FDS and therefore men are able to put in little to no effort in order to get their services. Came here to say this, sis. You're very young, but the men your age are even younger (boys mature a lot slower). That being said, don't fall for the older [more than 5 years] men who claim you're 'mature' for your age because that is a complete scam. Men are mostly immature emotional train wrecks and you shouldn't be feeling shitty about your beautiful self. The skirt story seems really elaborate and shady and a very unlikely course of events; if there was a pool party and someone arrived in a skirt, did they therefore leave in their bathing suit or naked??? Also, no man in the knowable universe would grab a womans skirt “to see if it belonged to a coworker”???? If that was the case, he would have taken it to said coworker’s place and if she said no he would have just thrown it out. You mentioned he cleaned his apt, so why is a “flyswatter” rag on t…

You go sis. Men are getting afraid of having to do actual work to get laid.

I was going to comment saying that this might be a bit harsh, and what if there was a genuine catastrophe, etc but honestly you're right, the dates I've had where the guy was interested he was there early. If a guy is excited about meeting someone they can usually make it happen.

This stuff bothers me sometimes because it's not that we don't think of dirty jokes or find them funny, its just that if we were to post anything like the anal-Pisa picture we would get comments shaming us about how we're slutty or creepy guys trying to use it as a wedge in. The worst thing is most of the criticism would come from other women. I wish someday we live in a world where I can make jokes like that and it will be equally funny and not receive as much criticism.

I think most mainstream music in general is misogynistic because even Kanye had good songs that seemed to come from the heart (Jesus walks, Diamonds) and not just to sell out.

Dang sis I'm sorry but atleast you're out. I feel like men would do this to every woman if they could, the only reason I think they make commitments is when they're worried about losing you. Put yourself first, you deserve it.

Have you been dating this guy? or has it been 5 years of stringing you along?

Thanks for the input, it makes sense. I'm considering just posting pictures with my boyfriend and then see if they still want to hang out (although sometimes that's not a good indicator because it wouldn't deter fuckboys). And yes ofcourse, run at the first sign of concern was the plan (and i'm a recovering alcoholic so I dont [cant] drink so that solves that)

Well he's not too much on social media but we have posted pictures together before in the past. Recently he's been promoted and I'm also trying to advance my career so we've kept the pictures to a minimum. All his personal friends and family know about me, and my immediate family knows about him (although my extended family is conservative & doesnt know), which is the way I like it. Although I dont mind telling people about my personal life, I dont like posting about it. I dont like the idea tha…

lol like I said, I have really conservative family who would lose their shit if they knew I was dating outside of my religion let alone living with a guy before 'marriage'. Also, my boyfriend used to work at the job I'm still at so I dont want them to get the wrong idea about my professionalism. I did say that but I also did mention the other response which would be 'oh yea dont flatter yourself, I just wanted to hang out as friends', which is also not optimal. I get that we shouldn't be despera…

That's what I'm wondering. All the comments here are saying that it doesnt matter the age and if they;re coming out of the woodwork it's likely because they think they have a chance with me. I was hoping that we could hang out as friends because we're not 18 anymore but I'm not sure anymore.

This is such a good point & I wish more people understood this. Most people are lucky if they die with friends and family around them. The term 'dying alone' is so weird because most of the time spouses die without the other (usually years apart).

Yea it makes me sad, I would eventually like to have some male friends because it's always nice to meet people and get fresh perspectives on things etc. Do you think I should just post pictures of me with my boyfriend/change my relationship status and see if they want to stop hanging out? I feel like it's not always the best way to find out if they're creeps, as if they really were it wouldn't matter and they would try to 'have lunch' with me anyway.

Thank you for your input! I do agree with you there. That's why I'm finding this a bit confusing because I tried that and 2 of them do want to 'go out for food', to which I suggested breakfast and lunch and they were fine with it. I've also been saying things like 'it'll be great to catch up with old friends' etc and there havent been any protest or anything like 'I hope I'm a little more than friends' or any aggressive comments like that. If it is just old friends catching up, I would like to g…

Came here to say this. As someone who is a dominant person and enjoys BDSM I can attend to this. There are a lot of 'dominant' personalities that like to be submissive in bed, i.e. in real life they are very demanding and particular about what they want but during sex they enjoy giving up that control & vice versa with submissive personalities. I've also met people who (such as myself) prefer to stay dominant in their sex life as well. This also has different meanings, the dominant is often the …

Dating apps are great if you’re in it for practice; i.e its helpful to date a variety of men to figure out some of the similar games they play or to find out what genuine emotion looks like. Would not recommend for serious or long term. All this education while getting free meals: not a terrible deal sis!

This is an awesome read, I have noticed a decrease in my depression now that ive started taking Omega supplements & vitamins & increased fiber/nutrients in my diet. Despite living in Canada and being bombarded by snow and longer nights, I actually feel happier now than I did in the summer.

I've also noticed this. I guess there's a lot of factors for this kind of behavior. Mostly, I think its just that easy satisfaction of ego feeding; i.e. they believe what they want to believe, and what they want to believe is that they're better than other men. That this pickme lady is saying all these things because they are oh so special. It's similar to young girls getting manipulated by older men when they say things like 'I've never done this before' or 'you're really mature for your age' o…

You might be in the wrong sub, this entire place is dedicated to “strategy”.. Have you tried being on the other side of this? Have you ever had someone constantly text you regardless of your interest in them? Its pretty annoying and it makes you seem needy and desperate. In reality if you’re a high value person you wouldn’t have the time to constantly text all day regardless of how interested/connected you are...sometimes you gotta pretend till you eventually actually become busy enough to do it…

I think the key here is not to text first. if he texts you and seems to be engaging conversation, by all means text back, but try not to RIGHT AWAY or try not to seem too eager

You seem really immature and insecure judging from the post and all your other comments so I don't know whether the 'good point' you're referring to is all the vulnerable sides of a woman or the fact that u/rythmryders was trying to say you are most likely suffering from similar vulnerability issues; i.e. you need to know women like you in order to gain self esteem just like some women gossip about friends to feel good about themselves etc.

You're a genius u/bearded_dragonlady, I cant think of a better way to explain this! I have commented on a few posts where guys say things like 'oo I dont get hints why cant women just be more direct' and I've repeatedly commented explaining how my experience says otherwise; I've confessed my feelings for a couple of guys before and it didn't work out and ruined the friendship, one also straightforward said that 'if a guy likes you, you wont have to worry about making the first move because he wi…

It's funny, I've also figured this out. I'm glad this subreddit exists I only wish I found it sooner. I made all the same mistakes you did OP, (and more!). What helped was after my last longterm relationship, I joined dating apps and experienced the other side of this; i.e. guys that were always available, constantly texting, oversharing their past/plans for the future etc. I also found it uncomfortable when guys would pretend to be super feminist or say things that they thought would impress me…
