Bingo. The women here have the notion that it's paradise and can be free. That's what I feel at least. It is, but doesn't mean you have to go on a hike solo with another guy and put him in your mouth ahahah

On Kauai. Lol. I've traveling to honolulu to meet women as the dating pool there is much bigger.

I'm on Hawaii and in the same situation. Just past 40, successful with a couple of businesses, in great shape. But here, there is money on every corner in the form of high 9 figs and even billions and all the old guys essentially buy up all the younger women. They want financially security and a family for the most part and the other side of the dating scene is women in our situation who those men just divorced from. It's a tough go here.

Like in the discovery process? I'll ask my lawyer to ask her lawyer and I'm sure they will squirm

I am praying for a settlement soon. It’s just delay after delay. They even filed for interrogatories and asked named every instance of verbal abuse in your marriage dating back to 2013. lol huuuuh!?

How did it turn out? Negative impact or able to flip it into reality of protection for yourself? I think as long as there's proof they were in common areas it's a no-brainer for the judge

That's my exact sentiment. If we resolved this easily, as it should have been, I'd have gone above and beyond to help situate that household. But now you're throwing darts and I have built some resentment and fighting tooth and nail

This is where I'm at currently. She sat on the stand and testified that she "deserves for me to pay every penny of her lifestyle and expenses to the tune of 5 figures+ because of the mental anguish she's going through" the judge here in Hawaii jaw dropped thinking she was entitled to 6 figures tax free. So I think I have the judge on my side as I have humanized myself and the situation. The pettiness and length of this process is insane.

Just had testimony against me stating that I put cameras in the house to spy on her and I'm a peeping tom and shouldn't have our daughter because of it. It was in a common area and protected me from abuse allegations and I cross testified that. The judge rules tomorrow. Said other things early on in the TRO about buying automatic weapons and causing harm to others with them. I couldn't believe my wife of 10 years was writing those things.

Lol. Love that. Daughter was like mom said I can't play soccer and I know why but I can't tell you. Lol it's because coach and me are friends. The pettiness of this whole process is mind-numbing.

No response sent. It's crazy how the process has given me time alone to self reflect where i probably could have been a better partner and now not much really rattles me. Meanwhile she jumped right into a relationship and hasn't clean the shit off her own doorstep. Appreciate your repsonse.

Great tip. I had a human moment with my lawyer last night. Her lawyer said "I expect this from you immediately " I said man she's pretty unpleasant and he said that's one nice way to put it. Then used the b and the c ahahha. I know lawyers will banter all day while getting paid but I can tell he's genuinely sick of their requests and bs

Yeah. And when someone address me with “per my attorney “ it typically has me seeing red lol. So figured cooler heads would prevail here

That’s what I thought. Said daughter’s child therapist said the boy is saying words like p*nis and butt. I said ummm 8 year boys could by saying worse. Over a year in and these are the things I’m still getting.

She was a stay at home mom for 10 years. At the moment she’s doing all she can to destroy my business and take everything I’ve earned.

I said in the post. I left hawaii for Michigan with daughter. Her attorney filed an emergency motion for 4th discovery knowing I couldn't make the court date, it was awarded, I wasn't even notified. Just got the judgement my attorney and said we can fight it but "it'll cost money". Lol oh really?

I could burn it to the ground as well, and easily pivot clients after the fact. Got me thinking now.

Good advice. Her attorney keeps threatening motions, filed multiple, saying I'm not forthcoming with documents but everything on the table. If she files motions my attorney has no option but to reply but it's just juvenile and petty. And I hate the whole process. They now want to file for emergency support for double what I'm already paying as they inflate her expenses. I think she actually wants to settle but her lawyer is taking the case personally.

They've filed motions for me to cover her attorney fees. Judge shut it down twice. And also temp alimony

My daughter had a mini flare up in school once through the process. Teacher wrote both me and ex and it was the first thread we were all 3 combined on. Funny thing is. She didn't know I was on there and thought it was a private message with the teacher. She said "oh my god I can't believe she did that. It brings me to tears just reading this. And the worst part is she has experienced her dad's verbal abuse for so long I feel so guilty I didn't leave him sooner". Felt surreal reading the narrativ…

She’s done some shady stuff throughout the whole process, slanderous in my business and gym communities and tried to make me look like a terrible person. Probably like others experiences. Problem is they see right through it and know she’s desperate to get as much as she can as a stay at home mom. Still, I don’t long for her, but don’t have the hate in my heart to completely destroy her. I could probably fight and win to relocate back to MI from Hawaii but it was her dream to be here, daughter i…

Everything is on the table. No only fans for me. I think she wants to see if maybe I was going abroad with another woman? Post her asking for divorce? Which also didn’t happen. Meanwhile she had a new bf immediately who is trying to discipline my 7 year old daughter and recently found out his ex left him because he was abusive, which ex doesn’t know about. At this point I’m going to give her the financial stuff and say no to the rest. Thank you

If it's financial sure, to try and skew spousal support, but things like marriot stays and passport info, etc. It just doesn't make sense.

Appreciate the words. Def haven’t slipped up yet but this is getting ridiculous. Initially she filed for full legal and physical but I’ve had daughter nearly every Friday to Tuesday the past few months. So they don’t even have a leg to stand on there. She labels all the messages in OFW as daughter support and saying it’s hard to make it on her own and she’s starting to see the light and just needs extra help for now. I’m not obligated by court to pay anything at the moment but been more than gra…

They have filed 2 motions to compel and the judge turned both down to pay her attorney fees, and their reason was they think I am not being forthcoming with the information that I am provided and they think I am hiding stuff. Literally, at this point, everything is on the table, and they keep pushing. It's out of hand at this point. THe OFW app is supposed to be only for communication on pick up and drop off for daughter and she's been asking for money there time and time again. It's legit weari…

Daaaamn I feel this hard. Found notes in a folder she didn’t know I have that said after being married 10 years and moving from Michigan to Hawaii that she “met someone she feels like she’s known forever”. That was in October. A few months into the move and a few months before serving me with papers. Hoodwinked me into moving out here and asking for 12k/mo in alimony now to support her and a guy that drove without a license and registration the past 7 years and plays Pokémon cards.

Year ten of marriage for me as well. Complete 180 and a shell of the woman I married and it came in the drop of a hat AFTER I support and paid for us to move to Hawaii. Lol they always have alterior motives. I won't marry again. Especially after losing millions through house, savings, and business owned.

Wow. Hate that for you. Mine is likely because I didn't roll over and give her full custody upon first negotiations. She wants to stay in Hawaii with daughter while I fuck off. I made a motion to relocate to mainland as the support and stability and have the means, statements, etc that i was always present while she was not. Anyone can drive her to school and/or make her a school lunch. I'm there for the memory making things and people can vouch.

Thank you. She's gone nights and weekends and leaves me with our 7 year old daughter. How are you scared and claim I'm capable of anything, yet leave me alone with a 7 year old girl? No criminal record, no DV, no drinking and no drugs. Wrote on the TRO that fear started 8 years ago. Lol yet no doctor visits, no friends or fam notified, nothing. Jist words on a paper that disallows me from seeing our daughters first soccer game and tell her she's beautiful before school pictures.

Tell me about it, brother. Trust me I try to keep it to a minimum, but she's really turned a corner on being a cunty bitch.

It's so crazy how they all end up turning into the same story. Now that in our motion to set trial court date I made it known in front of the judge that I'm motioning for relocation to the mainland she's in panic mode. Recording literally everything. Coming home with treats and toys for the kid, taking her out to dinner after school. She actually stopped spending the night at the guys house since I made that motion known too. She knows she fucked up and it's only a matter of time

It's not admissible here but the judge will take it into consideration in the custody trial. When your credibility takes a hit by lying about the importance of where you are at the expense of your child, it can be bigger Than you think
/r/Divorce_Men29/02/24 04:21 PM

Crazy. We even had the talks when a friend or two got divorced about the stats on kids from broken homes and now she's trying to manipulate our daughter into this cultish plant medicine culture here and how spirituality and the energy here will pull her through.

She even left a garbage bag in the garage and an opened benydrl tab wrapper in there that I could see easily. And stbwx doesn't take over the counter meds. So she uses it to get her to fall asleep quicker to sneak out faster. I'm giving her the rope . She's hanging herself.

It was a favor, actually. And I knew she was, but in the mointored app she's saying she is leaving our daughter with me solo because she has work meetings, and appointments, which are both lies. Because she's trying to start a company as a stay at home mom and has neither clients or appointments right now. The lying can discredit her character and desire to be a mom while requesting 100% custody.

Absolutely. And I don't care who she's sleeping with it's the fact she's gone nights and most weekends now, when she never was before. Daughter asking where does mommy go at night, and I have to bite my tongue. Infidelity doesn't matter here but the disappearing act and not even showing up to a birthday party for your own daughter that I had to plan solo does.

So far I have a second child in my stbxw. That's also because she has a tribe of bitter divorce middle aged women behind her telling her to look destitute and take everything. Fuck him. Literally. She flew in a 5'1 290lb friend the day she served me and the freeloader has been here since just after christmas. On the phone in the next room literally saying these things. I'm under a microscope so I can't let em get to me though.

Ahaha it was just an idea. She wants this. Fuck off you're getting this. It's fair. When does the negotiating stop. If she tells her lawyer it's not enough then the circus goes on. And we are at a stalemate.

I hear her and her friend here saying her laying is pushing it along quickly and it's not goig to be long lol. How is that even possible? . I am Paying a 7500/mo lease on a home in Hawaii until July. I don't plan on going anywhere. She can leave if she wants. Thank God we didn't buy here quickly.

Also, what good does recording do? It's not admissible in court. I can't physically see she's recording and she's not disclosing that she is. So what is the plan, to show her attorney I'm an asshole sometimes?

What if it folds, reopens in a new country under a business partner, he pays me under the table my customary amount, or in crypto, and we can completely screw her out of the equation for being a snake and ripping my 6yr old daughter away

So the way my taxes are set up I pay myself a reasonable salary in the joint return, and it looks waaaay lower than I earn and take dispersements from the biz to cover expenses. She won't get nearly as much as she thinks so I'm using that to my advantage. Just wondering since she was a huge cunt about the whole deal if I could absolutely crush her and make her move closer with my daughter since she ripped her from me.

This is what I'm looking for. Starting the biz in a dif country, or under another name with a shared account. That type of stuff. I just can't stomach paying someonf 200k a year to be a stay at home mom

I'm a biz owner, LLC taxed as s Corp, and have a "reasonable salary" I pay myself. We took from the biz when needed but our joint tax return shows us as barely able to live where we do with cost of living. Hoping this is my saving grace for alimony

I am doing this. Mine is claiming verbal abuse for 10+ years. Claims to have recordings of me getting angry. No threats, no criminal record, no drinking, no drugs. She walks around with her phone recording all day now. We are in same house because we moved to Hawaii and I'm not leaving until I head back to the mainland with my daughter. Just waiting for the fake TRO.

I'm operating like I'm under a microscope. She's texting finally saying oh I am going camping with so and so, do I need to get a babysitter? I respond and say I'd love more than anything to continue spending time with my daughter. I'm down to two attorneys who know relocation cases and not just wanting to fight to run up their retainer. I've negotiated flat fee pricing so they don't waste hours or fabricate hours. I love being a father and will do anything for my daughter, including going scorch…

Thanks, man. 50/50 doesn't make sense from a midwest and Hawaii sense, though, does it? Or could that mean for school years she stays here, and I get her summers? Or just a negotiation needed in court for that? I've talked to multiple HI attorneys said, tell me what you think it hinges on, and if I have a good shot at getting my daughter back to where she's been 6 years versus 6 months and both families, friends, etc there.

What's your situation? How are you making it work? Even with spousal support and alimony she can't make it work and hoping that's a solid argument to get daughter in my custody and back to the Midwest with support, stability, cost of living, etc.

Does cheating after divorce papers are served effect anything on the judges/courts side for custody? I was served out of the blue after an ahuyhuasca ceremony brought up "10 years of verbal abuse" and she needed space to heal it. Both worked from home and didn't spend enough time apart to even think cheating was in the cards but at this point I think I'd rather that be the case so I can move on faster. If she's disappearing all day now and I'm home with my daughter so she can heal but she's off …

Man. Can you dm me or can we talk? My stbxw starting doing plant medicine a few years back. Said she had some things come up that brought about 17 years of verbal abuse from me. I've said some things I regret but she categories verbal abuse as calling someone an asshole in traffic for cutting me off. She's been faithful for 10 years and we just moved to Hawaii in June. After 6 months here she had a ceremony said more trauma kept coming up and the day after Christmas hit me with divorce papers. H…
