18 year old's telling each other how to be men is hilarious. Forgot I used to read this dumb shit. Fellas, all the stuff in this subreddit is horseshit. Took me way too long to learn.

This conversation is typically had in relation to tinder guys showing off animal corpses in their pics. Have heard a great deal of girls say this.

I mean I came here from /r/all too, guy. You aren’t above people because you think you’re better than the subreddit you’re in. Enjoy arguing for sexism, my friend.

Maybe there are students that feel uncomfortable learning from female teachers that had traumatic experiences? We can both make up convenient reasons to support our points.

If there’s no need for us to encourage men to teach, there should be no need for us to encourage women to risk their life in the police force, yet here we are.

And then you assume they're a fat woman. Way to prove my original comment and look like a dumbass at the same time.

I hadn't planned to respond to any of the idiots replying, but I will for this one. You literally have no way of knowing that, it's just what you want to believe, so you assume it to be true. There are comments on this subreddit on my account from years ago. Check. Always funny when people assume shit.

This sub sucks now. Also, funny enough, only time I see "BTFO" used is in those cringy alt-right subs. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

I had initially planned to just not respond to any of the idiots who had themselves in a froth about my comment, but this one is especially funny You're on reddit, we're all talking into a huge funnel here. Nobody gives a fuck with any of us think.

How is that a pussypass though? A pussypass is something that a woman is allowed to do that a man is not, such as punching a member of the opposite sex. This is just someone breaking a rule and getting punished, reposted from a more popular subreddit.

God damn this subreddit sucks now. It's like you take every clip where a woman can be taken in a bad light and spam it here. I legitimately think a bunch of you fucking hate women.

My friend, I'd recommend going out alone in a nearby city before trying an entirely new country. If you're depressed, and you travel to spain, you'll be depressed in spain.

Yep! Judging by the pathetic excuse we currently have for a president, I'll happily stand by that choice. You, on the other hand, are salty enough about a post I made to go back through hundreds of posts to find something to attack me with. I haven't posted about Sanders in months.

Maybe read my post? Just because it happened once doesn't mean it is a widespread problem affecting men, it just means they want something to bitch about. Edit: fair enough, seems a bit more widespread than I thought. Doesn't change the fact that some meme about a chick with a bag beside her has nothing to do with Men's Rights.
/r/MensRights18/06/17 12:34 PM

Nope, I'm entirely entitled to an opinion to call this post shit. Instead of all the actual VALID issues men experience, such as workplace deaths, court bias, culture bias, expendability, and THIS is the shit that you all send to the front page? That's not a men's right sub so much as an anti-feminist circlejerk, mate.

Seriously? This is the shit you post on /r/MensRights??? I've never once heard a single person even mention "manspreading" but this sub would have you think they are just fucking attacked for sitting down. No wonder people don't take this sub seriously.

Like... housework? Plenty of places need maids/cleaners. Like... balancing finances? Accounting/customer service jobs are easy as fuck to get. Like... taking care of children? Work at a daycare. It isn't hard to get a job, it just isn't very fun. No reason she should get to avoid working because she spent the last few years not working. This argument about alimony never held water with me.

Lol, looks like one of his stupid techniques was used on the wrong person. Julien does absolutely insane things, but they also work pretty often, so I couldn't care less. Edit: went back and watched linked video. This guy is incredibly biased, but Julien kinda fucked up.

I don't honestly even know what you're talking about. I'd have to Google it, and to be honest, I don't give a damn what stupid thing Julien did, because he knows how to explain pickup well and that's all I care about (though Tyler is my favorite).
/r/seduction10/01/16 04:50 PM

No. If they aren't cool with me learning how to better myself, they don't deserve to be around me. I've let a few people know about how I learned and developed socially, and nobody cared at all that it was pick-up stuff.

I don't know as much about London's CoL, but in NYC, i could probably afford it if I lived in one of the outer boroughs and just travelled by train to the city. I don't make enough to live in it without having like 8 roommates.

Good info! Out of curiosity, what makes you think west coast cities have more laid back women? I definitely would prefer to have less chicks looking for sugar daddies and other shit if possible. I make good money, but that's for me, not to impress women.

Man, I don't go to UF, but I've been on campus to take a midterm for my online class. If your little brother is going to UF, he'll be surrounded by some of the most attractive women I've ever seen on a daily basis. I've honestly considered going to UF for picking up women, but that'd be pretty odd as I don't go to the school... How's miami's nightlife? In a month or two, I'm packing up my shit and moving... somewhere. My only criteria is that it's a fairly large city. So, I'm taking ideas. Any s…

Doing interesting things in your pictures, no selfies, no pictures with better looking dudes in it, no video game/anime references, a puppy or kitten in the main pic makes tinder easy mode. Pay/ask a photographer or artsy friend to take pics of you (the average dude on reddit doesn't take many pics and probably doesn't have that many people taking pictures of him regularly. Gainesville isn't small by any means. If you're failing to pick up chicks there, you're doing something wrong. Source: I work there and try to hit on at least one girl at whatever starbucks/publix I go to for lunch. Supplemented with tinder, and I've literally never had a shortage of women to hit on.

What necessarily makes that response chodey? I probably wouldn't have said it, but using a sexual innuendo in that kind of situation doesn't exactly seem wrong, either. Your response is funny, but I don't think his was terrible or anything. Not disagreeing, seeing if I'm missing something.
/r/seduction26/12/15 04:17 AM

Good point. Too many people think their lives will turn around after they have a better job, more money, weigh less, or whatever. The truth is that the mindset shift is way more important than just about anything else when it comes to both being happy with yourself and being able to pick up women.

There's a difference between being introverted, and using all of your free time to play games and shit instead of working out/being social. Most of reddit uses it incorrectly.

And? Some guys need to get some practice in before gaming in the big leagues. Back when I was a virgin, I lost it to a fat chick. I batted "little league" for a while until i was confident I wouldn't dissapoint hot chicks.

Easiest answer is to not lie about it. Otherwise, say you either aren't a picture guy or delete pics of old flames.

Those sound fine if you're content lying to get laid. They're easy enough to remember. We all tell white lies sometimes. I try to avoid lying to new girls I meet because on the chance i end up dating one, remembering my white lies makes the relationship more difficult.
/r/seduction21/12/15 02:47 PM

It all depends. The other day when I asked a girl on a date, she told me she had a boyfriend to which I replied that she looked like she could use two, before telling her to have a nice day and left. My mood will be great no matter what some stranger I'll never see again says to me. Taking rejection well is a surprisingly attractive trait, because it shows an unshakeable frame.

I agree. It's great that OP made progress and all, but there was no seducing here. This sub is leaning towards becoming /r/socialskills. I still like it but it seems the majority of the members are more into self help and learning to be confident (great things!) than actually seducing people

That's sound advice, and I get that. I actually just got done listening to Models as an audiobook so those themes are fresh in my mind. What I'm saying is if you meet an attractive woman, and your interaction is bound to be short (say a chick at work, like my example), it's hard to show enough high value to appear attractive with the things you say/do. For those interactions designed to be short, should you just do a hail mary and ask her on a date after your short conversation or is there a bet…
/r/seduction21/11/15 06:08 PM
3

Regarding number 5, how do you create emotional investment in interactions designed to be short? For example, I asked a girl working at a shaved ice joint if she wanted to go on a date today (said she had a boyfriend, doesn't matter) and got turned down. In this short interaction I was friendly and kinda funny, but it's not like anything I said could have changed her day. Any tips?

There's no magic answer I can tell you to make you suddenly be happy and go hit on women. You have to do that for yourself. Others can try and offer advice, but it's up to you to follow it. You don't seem too interested in following mine. The only thing holding you back if yourself. You've acknowledged this. Now all that's left is to just go do it. Social anxiety and whatever other bullshit you say you have be damned. Women don't care if you have "crippling social anxiety" and to be frank, neith…

This is your life, and you're wasting it one minute at a time with your bullshit fears. Go out and do something, or regret it for the rest of your life. The pain of regret hurts so much more than being rejected. Also, MGTOW is a term for guys temporarily swearing off women, not guys too scared and akward to leave their house.

Exercising is shown to provide long term health benefits for lowering high blood pressure, as far as I know. If your blood pressure was high at the time of your going to the gym, it could have been due to another, less healthy habit of yours.

When I'm at the club, most girls are already pretty wasted, so I'd feel weird hitting on them sober, plus I just find it fun to drink beforehand. To each their own!
/r/seduction27/08/15 06:14 PM

They're probably worse, but I feel like the things I say are more deep. Or maybe I just have all my deep conversations with friends when we're kinda high, dunno.
/r/seduction27/08/15 06:12 PM

Seddit might downvote me for this, but I'm almost always in some state of inebriation when I go. I have a feeling going sober would be just as fun, but a bit more difficult.
/r/seduction27/08/15 02:34 PM
2

Daily smoker here. Depending on how high I am, my conversation skills improve or get worse. If I'm below a 4, I can say more things that I'd have kept to myself. If I'm above, I have a hard time comprehending words and my words have a hard time being comprehended for deep conversation, so it's best to keep it short at that point.
/r/seduction27/08/15 02:05 PM

So the only reason you go to clubs is to dance with girls? My first few club visits were like that. Imagine my surprise when I got maybe one girl to twerk on me every couple visits. I realized I was pretty much just standing around akwardly, leering at random women until I picked out one aplroachable, then got in her orbit and kinda chatted/rubbed my dick on her until she had a favorable response or I realized she was uncomfortable. This obviously did not work well. Then I said fuck it and went …

If you want to convey your values, and they are truly your values, you should have plenty of real stories that they should show in. You can always tell those. That's what most people do. Fake stories made up to share your values seem counterintuitive.

I'm one of those people who tote Models as the best book ever. Inside, Manson has a rule where I doesn't wait for asking for dates. If he wanted a date with her, he'd ask for it. I'm of the same opinion, no waiting games. I've heard it does work though.

Let me tell you something I've learned. The first time I asked for a girl's number, I was a shaking mess. Now, I still get nervous before I do it, but it's so much more easy. What can they do, say no? That's simply her saying you two aren't compatible, nothing to sweat about. A phone number isn't a big deal at all. Most girls hand them out like candy as long as you're even slightly friendly towards them. Even if she says no, focus on the conversation, and how you acted, where you could be better…

Coffee dates aren't really a high school thing, honestly. At least in my experience. Especially since you're 16, amd most 16 year olds have to get around by their parents. Since it's high school, I'd say cold approaching isn't the way to go. I was able to easily know almost my entire graduating class, and I went to a fairly large school.

Hmm... it seems like you may be giving up too quickly. Why not at least make an attempt at a number close no matter how uninterested she seems? It's not like you have any bridges to burn at that point.

Are you telling me that you haven't had success in 1200 approaches?
/r/seduction01/10/14 07:30 AM

Let me put it this way. When I get a good amount of sleep, my mood is better, I smile more, and carry myself with more confidence. Less sleep means a more cranky me, and I usually put less effort into my appearance as well as looking less approachable due to my worse mood. Many are like this, some are not. It's your call.

Since when is being honest considered unethical? She isn't being honest, and by proxy, neither are you. And even if she sleeps with me while being in a relationships with someone else, why do you think it is necessarily a bad thing? Because a relationship is about loyalty, and trust. You're willingly helping to break that. It's selfishness. I don't know a single non-self-centered person who would help cheat or cheat themselves.
/r/seduction26/09/14 02:11 AM

My best reply would be for you to stop being a dick that meddles in relationships. There are millions of single girls, fuck off for ruining somebody else's happiness for one night of satisfaction.

“Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,” he told me, “just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.” Most will be familiar with this quote. Not everybody is born equally, and frankly, it'd suck if they were. Some are naturally better than others at many things. My example will be math. I blow hard at math. I nearly failed so many classes when I was younger. Many kids naturally understood it more easily than I did. Did that mean that I should jus…

Your job is to find reasons a person IS worth dating, not reasons that they aren't. Everyone has something special about them, your job is to find it.
/r/seduction23/09/14 12:52 PM

I guess so, but I'm still the same person personality-wise, so hearing that is weird.
/r/seduction22/09/14 03:10 PM

I have a close female friend that keeps saying I've changed recently, but she can't quite describe how. She says that I'm more confident, but feel like a different person than she remembers. This bothers me because I haven't changed my personality except for smiling more and being more happy in general.
/r/seduction21/09/14 09:32 PM

I understand that you're supposedly some "legend" or something and probably know what the hell you're saying, but I'd much rather have abit less game and be able to say that no means no. If a woman doesn't want to be with me, or says that she doesn't, fuck it, and her, I'll find someone who does. Edit: are you talking about the "smiling, playful no" or a woman playing hard to get? If it's the first, I see what you're saying, but not the second.
/r/seduction21/09/14 07:56 AM

Then can we be clear on the fact that no means no? Not taking no for an answer is harassment as well.

Can we not advocate sexual harassment/assault please?

Let me put it this way. Sometimes you have to change yourself in order to become more attractive. That includes potentially being around things you wouldn't have liked before. For example, I fucking LOVE pokemon and manga. I play pokemon all the time, battle competitively, and read manga on my phone usually daily. Does that mean that I broadcast that fact? No, it'd only hurt my chances of being attractive. On a similar vein, I've most physical activities and been a bit of a shut-in most of my li…

Can we just notice for a second how awesome and helpful Mark Manson is? Models completely changed my outlook on life, and I feel like a better person every time I read one of his articles. Even non-seduction stuff like this. I read his article on the recent school shootings and it impacted me really strongly. I guess he'll be the first person I show gratitude to. He has honestly changed my life. Cheers to him.

Look, if you want a tic to do in your down time, there are many better ones. One that has been highly recommended is using your hand to rub the back of your head, because it leaves you open and establishes dominance/vulnerability. Though, I'm not sure why you'd want a tic, they're annoying.

I'll work on that. I guess I haven't gotten really comfortable in the party environment yet, I still feel shy and akward at them. Alcohol helps.

It's been said already, but just level with your roomie. Also, introduce him to girls (possibly coach him through it) as a thank-you and he'll be more than happy to give up the room next time

Not to rain on your parade here, but one pick up won't make you some grand winner or anything. If you want multiple pickups, try and be consistent before thinking you're a bad ass. It never hurts to be proud of your accomplishments though.

In that case I will say that I have ulterior motives. I'm not befriending her for that sole reason. She's still incredibly important to me and a great person that I want in my life, but I won't deny that possibility either.
/r/seduction22/08/14 06:21 PM

Almost all of my friends are her friends as well. My closest female friend who has supported me through everything is her roommate. I'm not willing to lose these friends.
/r/seduction22/08/14 06:17 PM

Maybe putting them on the backburner isn't the best way to phrase it. Basically, I acknowledge that I still have those feelings and that I can't force them to go away. Only time can do that. I will be talking to avaliable girls and everything as well. It worked out for me the last time. I met the girl I'm talking about now while my feelings were on the backburner a few months after another breakup. I hope that makes sense.
/r/seduction22/08/14 06:15 PM

That's my favorite part of this sub. It isn't just about women, it's about bettering yourself so that you deserve them as much as they deserve you.
/r/seduction22/08/14 04:34 PM
2

That's the thing. I can't give full context to these situations. There simply isn't enough space. So, a person might not come to the same conclusion I have because they didn't experience the past year like I did. I should trust my own choices, and take advice given with a grain of salt. It just seems like everybody thinks they know what's best for me.
/r/seduction22/08/14 04:31 PM
5

Okay, I completely see where you're coming from. The problem is, it's really hard to give context from such a short post and I doubt anybody will want to read some kid's sob story. Anyway, I'm putting my feelings for her on the backburner. If they fade, great. If they don't, then I might have to try and give things another shot. That DOES NOT mean that I won't approach other girls, try and get numbers or things like that. It just means that I won't rule out the possobility of things working out.…

You've commented on nearly every one of my posts here, and usually with damn good advice. I can't put all of the context in any one post for either sub, as there really isn't enough space for it. Are you in a right subreddit? Seduction has nothing to do with either. Unless you can define better, you can't become that. Once you know what is that "better person", you can set some goals and start to make some kind of path towards it. Better - such as someone who contributes to the society? Better - someone who takes care of his family? Better - such as someone who inspire others to do great things? Better - someone who will work with the economical, social and environmental issues by preven…

I seem to be having an issue with this one. I've mostly stuck with friends from high school. The guys on my floor don't seem to be too big of a fan of me honestly. I guess I haven't actually had to make friends in years, I always just expanded friends through my friends, or through my girlfriend's friends. So, I'm not really antisocial or anything, I just can't seem to find anybody who wants to hang out.

Value is a tricky concept. I will act like a temporary tour-guide through this tangled forest of concepts, and you see if any of these thoughts are worth keeping... Right now, your viewpoint is focused on a specific kind of value: The obvious, undeniable contribution of a loudly positive person who "brightens everyones day". That is one kind of value. Good point. I should probably say that I want to be that type of person. I move into college tomorrow and I want to be the person that brightens e…

You need to understand that they're just people too. That sounds stupid, but it's true. Any of those conversations you had with the unattractive/older people would work just the same with an attractive person. I guess it just comes with experience.

What's the harm in just offering to pay? If she turns you down once, insist. If she turns you down twice, cave. It shows you want to be the "provider", but that you also will allow her to be independent if she so desires.

You don't want a relationship. Stop that. You want to expand social circles (ideally more than one) and have fun. Focus on that and the rest will follow. You're right, I just want the feeling it gave me. That make sense? If I want to expand circles, CYC had a really great write-up on that.
