Last week one of my workers was complaining about a health situation to me. He had done this before and every time I told him to setup an appointment to get it checked out to which he would reply "yeah yeah I know" or "I've never been to a doctor and I don't want to start now".
This time I had finally had enough and made him sit down and setup an appointment while I watched him. Now he has been to the doctor, got a prescription for at least one of his issues, and has a follow-up appointment for other stuff.
It feels great to be a personal advocate for someone else's well being even if it's just giving them a kick in the pants on something they know they should be doing. Looping back to the thread title. What have you done lately to help a man in your life?
