No no see here's the issue. These women are acting aggressive, but they're only acting aggressive because they've been deluded by the patriarchy. The system set up by men has forced these women to act like this.

That's from an Eminem song, how could they not even google that. As for trolling itself, why would anyone be surprised by this, assholes come in all genders

This doesn't surprise me. Women, after all, are the primary slut-shamers of other women. Its inter-female competitiveness... everyone loves to sabotage the competition.

Yet again, we see more evidence that people being mean on the internet is a mere reflection of people being mean to each other in real life - it isn't a product of some sort of "systemic misogyny" in "nerd culture" or some sort of "boy's club" mentality in tech.

Plenty of studies have shown that women can be just as horrible to each other as men can be to each other... from the Tracy Valliancourt study to books like Queen Bees and Wannabes. Is it any surprise that these dynamics pop up online?

Things like this are useful in that they help discredit the Third Wave narrative that online trolling is evidence of systemic hatred held by men against women. Rather, we are simply seeing people being assholes to each other.
