I lift. I study. I work hard. I work really hard. I have an LTR who I treat well, with minimum "TRP Game" when she starts to treat me too much like an ATM or emotional boxing bag...

But, beyond relationships and self improvement for mostly financial and social gain in the workplace what can I do to just be a good person, a good man?

I feel empty inside and don't feel like I have a real world view or perspective on life. I feel really detached from society, like a sort of puppet or character just going through the motions expected of me. I don't know what to do besides follow the formula.

I work. I save. I put my savings towards my mortgage. I study late at night. I work early in the morning. I work 7 days a week. I squeeze in lifting at the gym. I sleep. I squeeze in time for my woman. I sacrifice sleep. I squeeze in time for chores.

All I can focus on is work, exercising, studying relevant certificates towards a promotion in my industry, keeping my girlfriend happy. And staying organized on top of it all.

Why do I feel so empty inside?

What am I supposed to do to make the emptiness go away? I don't think sleeping with lots of women is the answer. My LTR provides me a certain level of comfort, but TRP has taken me from angry, to optimistic, to depressed, to accepting, and now I'm at this stage of absolute apathy.

I accepted it for a while, but now, knowing that she can never love me the way I love her. Seeing all TRP principles play out time and again, and having to constantly juggle between being Alpha and also being a provider that can be tender at times is demoralizing. I don't know how to go forward from here.

Will taking the next step and having children bring me fullfilment, or will it just extend the emptiness?
