There is a surge in barber training schools so that is where I would look. I find an old fashioned safety razor works really well for home. I have a beard so I just keep my neck and cheeks shaved but the single blade safety razor I got from Art of Shaving blows the 3-5 blade over priced razors away. What surprising to me is that I have been out in SF and have had women basically cat call at me. It made my night.
