Quite interesting. Can someone direct me to the EU-wide survey for violence against men, so I can compare the numbers?

Violence against women undermines women’s core fundamental rights such as dignity, access to justice and gender equality.

This is a sexist paper that undermines equality. Why are there no funds to research violence against men, violent deaths of men due to suicide, workplace deaths, ..

Well, probably there is as much or more violence against men.

For example, one in three women has experienced physical and/or sexual violence since the age of 15;

Almost all men that I know have experienced physical violence, some fight with another man, mostly not a serious life and death fight.

Most men I know have been groped by a woman, have had a women continue sex after the man said "stop, I am tired".

So probably more men fit into this scheme.

one in five women has experienced stalking;

women are expert stalkers, because it does not even occur to them that they could be held responsible. I have been stalked more then once.

every second woman has been confronted with one or more forms of sexual harassment.

This figure is based on responses to the survey question “Since you were 15 years old until now, how often has someone forced you into sexual intercourse by holding you down or hurting you in some way?” In a number of EU jurisdictions, the legal definition of rape extends beyond the requirement that the perpetrator uses physical force. In this regard, the extent of rape in the EU could be in excess of 5 %

Funny how this number is much less than the frequently cited 1 in 4 false statistic.

This is one of the more shit studies I've seen.

They don't even ask specific question, just if they experienced violence... any violence, anything, defined by them individually.

It's amazing how low the academic standards of feminist research are.

Looking deeper into the website it appears that "Equality between men and women is a fundamental principle". Yet there is no survey of violence against men, even though violence against men is known to be more frequent.

But that isn't going to stop them from using "women survey results to populate one area of its Gender Equality Index".

So this is what it looks like to have gender equality as a fundamental principal?
