I have a little bit of history with this girl. HB9 and I have been on a few dates in the last few years, but nothing serious. Just recently got connected again through a friend and went to her 21st birthday party. Party went insanely well, talked with all her friends and could tell I was getting her more interested. She texted me after the party and we chatted a bit. Trying to get another date going.

So as far as texting, I ended our convo saying she should come out sometime and cook with me.

Her: Are you a good cook? Me: Come find out

-no response- (few days ago)

So today I text her

Me: late beach on Thursday, come join me.

Her: I can't, I'm studying for the LSAT.

Any thoughts? She didn't try to reschedule at all so I may have missed my shot. Just curious if I should respond or just soft next.
