My LTR met a semi-famous musician after a show in a meet and greet about a month ago. I noticed he ended up following her back on her Instagram and they exchanged a few likes. Being insecure about it admittedly, I ended up checking her phone when she was asleep.

In short, the night she met him she asked him to come out after the show to the bar her and her friends where going to. He ended up declined cause he "needed sleep". From that point on, the inbox is just a series of her responding with emojis to his Insta's stories (sent a heart and a smiley, sent some fire emojis etc). Lastly, she responded to one of his stories with a happy birthday and he replied with a "when am I going to see you again?"... she basically said the next time he was in town or whenever she would travel to where he lived.

Aside from this, our relationship is great. She's very affectionate, always asks to hangout first, great sex etc. So this situation is a bit confusing. I confronted her about it and she ended up lying and covering it up by editing the inboxes etc. After she found out I knew, she broke down... told me she knew they sounded bad but she was only talking to him so she could maybe meet the main act who was her idol (she had sent texts to her friend proving this). She blocked him without me asking and even offered to delete Instagram. All in all she said she had no interest in him whatsoever, and broke down pretty bad when I went to give her "the talk" and break up with her.

I ended up giving her a second chance, but I'm a little concerned about the relationship now. Do second chances ever really work? Should I be worried from the point on?
