Look, I understand that people are easily offended when a joke involves them in some way. It is their right to be offended. It is not their right to censor the offender.

I firmly believe that we have to be able to laugh, even at the horrible things. Sometimes that's what breaks their power over us. Not everybody will laugh at the same thing, but we have to give everyone an opportunity to laugh at the world.

Finally, to believe that jokes somehow normalize rape ... Objectification? I can see an argument for that. Rape? No. No amount of jokes can normalize that behaviour. It's funny exactly because it's understood that it's completely wrong.
