I am all for this but they seem to be missing half of the picture. Why is there no analyzing of male roles on tv and in film?

Weird. From what i've seen, the vast majority of female roles on TV at the moment are positive. This feels a little misguided, if not completely unnecessary.

I guess the "dumb, incompetent husband/father" cliche will have to wait a little longer to be dealt with. sigh

It's almost as if they're placidly status quo. But still cutting edge, of course.
