Hey everyone. About a week ago, I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine about this subreddit, and I thought I'd share. I've known said friend for several years now, and he's always been a great conversation and debate partner.

He's also a victim/survivor (I'm not sure which word he would describe himself with) of domestic violence.

Our conversation meandered its way into gender rights, and some of the conflicts inherent to both Feminism and the MRM. One of the anecdotes he offered was particularly amusing:

One of his friends (who'll we'll refer to as "Bob") has a fondness for trolling. Bob has said he's unwilling to troll r/MensRights because - in his words - "They're just so damn earnest about wanting to do the right thing. Plus, it's kind of annoying when they acknowledge when I have a valid point. Getting them riled up is too much work; I'll stick to poking the feminist beehive."

Salud.
