I'm not an MRA, but I know quite a few MRAs, so I have a serious question for the subreddit.

I've noticed a lot of, what some might call, "radical feminists" running around lately on the internet, spewing filth and bigoted hatred. Talking about genocide and so forth. And, at the same time, I've seen some people who call themselves MRAs making hateful comments about women (not so much the genocide bit though).

Now, when these radical feminists run around saying they want to kill men and shit like that, almost everyone unanimously agrees that they're just trolls or "Poe's" who should be ignored, and a few here and there get pissed off about it.

I hate to get into hypotheticals, but imagine if a guy started a channel calling for the extermination of most of the worlds female population. His videos would go viral overnight, or they'd be instantly taken down. No one would consider that he might be a troll or a Poe, they'd take him at face value and probably try to have him arrested or murdered.

But, curiously enough, when it comes to women who are doing this, and there seem to be more and more all the time, they get let off the hook by quite a lot of people. One name that I won't mention comes to mind...

Her videos are still up, and she's still out there with a few of her fellow lunatics spreading hatred and bigotry against men, and no one really seems to care. There's no uproar about it, not a lot of outrage beyond MRA circles, and feminists have all but turned a blind eye to it.

Some have even argued, like the one I had a discussion with last week, that these "radical feminists" are actually just MRAs, or are working for MRAs, and they're out to harm feminism.

What I gather from this is that, even when a women is going out of her way to say that she hates men and wants them all to die, it's still logical to some people to assume a man must be behind it. And, if she is serious, she's not worthy of condemnation for the most part, but pity and sympathy for whatever traumatic experiences she's suffered that made her that way.

I wonder if a man would get the same sympathy and pity, or "he's just a troll" dismissal? Are women ALWAYS the victim, or just a pawn, even when they are the aggressor? And, isn't it a little sexist to say these women are being controlled by men, rather than acknowledging that these might just be their own actual ideologies?

Just curious as to what everyone on this subreddit thinks about that particular phenomenon.
