There's been studies done showing that happiness of both parents goes down significantly when the child is born, and stays that way I believe until the child leaves home. So by having a child you're lowering your satisfaction with life for the next 18 years or possibly much longer, depending on how many children you will have.

They're envious of you because you have an easier life as someone who is not married and doesn't have kids. They're miserable and they want you to share that misery.

If they were all jumping off a bridge, they'd also be trying to shame you if you chose not to do it.

I noticed that at the company I used to work for.

At first, the parties (privately thrown parties), were for everybody. As more and more people paired up, single MEN were excluded from being invited.

Not single women - just single men.

Our society detests male sexuality.

Like the author puts, just rephrase the question of "why you don't have a partner?" to "you mean why haven't i settled?"

You say cuples, but it is both the men and the women equally? Or do you find the venom coming oorm the women more?

If it's more from the men, they could just be nervous.

If it's from the women, they could just be nervous to. This culture spends a lot of effort telling men they have to get the girl or they're nothing. Then he is supposed ot indenture his life ot pleasing her. A lot of women grow up in that enivronment and expect that kind of treatment. A MGTOW contradicts that, in the flesh. that can be very threatening.

So enjoy it.

If you're MGTOW the right response to someone asking why you aren't in a relationship would probably be rolling on the floor laughing at them.

Woman power. The power of weakness. Animus.

It's THE compulsive possessive dominator animal consciousness.

When the male is with the female she tries to boost social her status by shutting out those of different situation with power and passion. She doesn't want the male to think as a person who is single, she wants to own him, so she uses her power to make him her attack dog. So that explains the male's reason.

For the female: It's fundamental to hypergamy to demonize single men. When people are single the female's vagina is not the center of those people's lives. The female instinct is to domesticate, if the drive of society isn't to spread the girl's legs, then people will not raise up her status to the high heavens, they will do great things like visit the moon, or become heroes or religious and she will become an outsider.

In a nutshell: Demonizing single people raises female status.
