They were checking it out to see if it was a hard-on. Not exactly appropriate to be walking around sexually aroused. The jacket lady told the manager that he had a "hard-on", not that they could just see his penis. Total difference between a hard-on in public and cleavage. The women weren't all objectifying him, all were clearly thinking... is that a hard on?? (Some were obviously just checking off his package after the initial reaction.)

First, breasts are a secondary sex organ, while the penis is a primary sex organ. Primary sex organs are far more psychologically powerful. Second, cleavage is far more normalized. It's not strange to see it, so people don't notice it so much. That's why when people mention it, they stand out as sexual outliers ("prudes" or "pigs," depending on what they say).

Imagine a waitress, wearing a mini-skirt, had inserted the cover from a fleshlight into a pair of either translucent or crotchless panties, and then bent over to pick up a dropped spoon in front of her customers.

It would be a funny prank. It would not prove or even suggest anything about objectification as it relates to gender, especially if the prank was pulled on customers of only ONE gender.

If people wanted to make an observation about objectification/physical attraction and gender, it would have been sufficient to have a fit, somewhat muscular, attractive waiter wear a tight shirt. The women would likely have admired him as much as men admire cleavage.

I think it's interesting that the woman at ~3:10 complains to the manager about it. She's offered another waiter, I don't see a man being able to complain about his waitress's cleaveage without him being labeled a prude (or a pervert depending on the context) or at least an asshole.

Lol wow, that one woman was pretty amazing, especially when she took off her jacket. She is somewhat of a special case, but still very interesting.

Seriously though, we saw some familiar behaviour:

staring, even if seemingly against their own will
suggesting revealing clothing is gross or disgusting
claiming to not be interested, that they'd never be so shallow - yet obviously very interested.
