Nope I'm being acute.

You're more interested in some shit about disposable penises or whatever, I'm more interested in what the movie may be saying.

The whole "these are bad people doing bad things" shit is simplistic, not just for this movie but a lot of movies in general (how many "war is bad" movies end up making war look like cool shit, insert quote attributed to Francois Truffaut). Like not having seen the movie I can already tell that it's doing something more complicated than "these people are bad" because once again a scene involves "filmmakers" molesting a woman while filming it huh I wonder what that means in the grand scheme of a group of filmmakers putting shocking images on camera.

Once again that the filmmakers are men is a detail that can be pointed out when it comes to a genre that is dripping with issues of gender and sexual transgressions.

Of course not for the whole death proof/planet terror thing, and no its not for the Succubus part, it<s just better done stylisticaly in my opinion. But the thing is , i checked some of her other reviews, some films dealing with equal if not worst forms of abuse and they didn't seem to get as much backlash, it leaves the impression that since this movie was of lower quality to start with she just trampled the bad point into the ground, almost just dismissing it as usual male trash. Also, the fact that a movie is made by a man or a woman shouldn't be an important detail. The only reason it is mentioned is to enforce a generalize world view, she says the movie is bad and big surprise a man did it instead of the movie is bad because the director(s) were bad or inexperienced. She might not have done voluntarily but she did push the message nonetheless.
