TIL the county where I live now gives equal recommendation for both sexes to receive the HPV vaccine with adolescent vaccine updates. This is a positive change, as previously they only recommended it for girls even though both sexes can carry, show symptoms of, and develop cancers from the two strains addressed by the vaccine.
