She doesn't like you, and she doesn't have to. She should exercise her right to date whoever she wants.

If it makes you feel any better, if the girl you like keeps on going out with awful guys as a habit, she could just be a problematic person in general. Some people are just prone to seek dramatic relationships and aren't anyone you would want to be with in the first place.

It's normal to feel disappointed. Angry? It's understandable, but I would not say it's right because that would mean she has a moral obligation to date you - nobody has that sort of obligation.

However, it certainly is painful when someone towards whom you've been nice, caring and helpful rejects you. Keep in mind though: nobody controls how they feel about dating other people. If you don't feel like somebody would be a good boyfriend or girlfriend, you can't force yourself.

The appropriate response? Don't blame her, but you don't have to like her anymore either. You have every right to say "I'm sorry but I've been there for you when you needed me and you rejected me, I'm hurt and I don't want to be your friend anymore".

In fact, stepping away is the only right answer to being friend-zoned. Sometimes people really get along with someone as friends but really can't imagine going further. Other times, some people want to "date" two people but since they can only have one, they date one and friendzone the other, which allows them to keep both close to them.

So if you feel you are being friend-zoned, always say something along the lines of "fine, call me back when you want to be more than friends" and let it go. Either she never saw you as boyfriend material and sticking around wouldn't have changed this, or she's friend-zoning you so she can keep you close while dating other guys, in which case a) she's using you and you're better off without her or b) she decides to date you because she doesn't want to lose you in which case you "win".

You have one-itis. Learn game and apply it (or not) in ways that work for you. Choose when you want to seduce women and when you don't.

If the women you chose not to express romantic (or just sexual) interest in aren't romantically (or sexually) interested in you, see that as the obvious outcome and not a failing in them.

Oh man, have you just opened a shitstorm. Be prepared for people to tell you that you don't care about this girl at all, that you don't respect her, you are just being deceptive to get into her pants, that "Nice Guys" are worse than guys who treat women like shit to their face, etc. The Reddit White Knight Brigade has really taken over the whole "friendzone" argument.
