Was told to post this here as well for additional advice.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Just the bones of the situation.

Married for 3 years, no children. We only have one large asset: The house I purchased (about 3 days before we got married). She had no credit score so did not co-sign on the mortgage. She then continued to "forget" to sign on to the title of the house.

I'm the only one that made money during our marriage: paying for the house and our bills. She DID however bring a large sum of cash (to the tune of 30K) to pay off my (our) car, my ($5K) student loans, and then she put the rest into making the house exactly what she wanted it to be.

She's left and is trying to get me to sign one of those no-contention divorces, on her terms. Basically her terms are she gets half of all the $ in my accounts (About 17 grand) because she kept a separate account where her part time $ went to (which she keeps). I also get stuck with the house. Which is a huge burden and not something I'll be able to unload quickly, because the housing market sucks here.

She didn't sign on the mortgage and "conveniently" kept forgetting to sign on to the title of the house after we got married. Do I have ANY way to fight this house debt? Or am I truly fucked and stuck with it? I would NEVER have purchased this home were it not for our marriage.

I live in Illinois if it matters.
