Because there is no pharmaceutical contraceptive men can take which has been approved by the FDA.

You do realize that it takes both a woman AND a man to create a pregnancy via sexual intercourse, right? So oral contraceptives are free for women because women are the gender that takes them, but both women and men benefit from the effects of them.

B/c there aren't any prescription birth control options for men. If there were, I am sure they would be covered under the law.

It does say condoms are covered under the law. I wonder if men can get them though, or if a woman has to take them. Any health clinic will give free condoms too, but having them readily accessible at your health care provider's site would be wonderful.
