Are you contending there is no value to this kind of article? Are you contending that, unless the article encompasses several perpetrators, that it's irrelevant? Are you contending that this is an unimportant, isolated case?

What EXACTLY is your objection to this kind of article....is it because it puts women in a less-than-perfect light, or shines light on female criminals and abusers?

Is your objection to this rooted in 'fairness', or are you simply 'defending women'? And if so, why is showing bad acts committed by women 'irrelevant' to mens rights when these same bad acts are not only damaging to men (as they would be to women), but ALSO these bad acts are mirrored by those of men...which are demonstrably punished MUCH more severely than women?

Or are you simply afraid of 'looking bad', and therefore do the EXACT SAME SHIT WE OPPOSE in others...namely, descend into gynocentric thinking...?

In any case, if you won't explain yourself, why should we do anything but dismiss you out of hand?

From the perspective of whether men or women are more capable of child abuse, yes. Statistically one incident means nothing.

It's certainly a disheartening story, but without outside data there's nothing to suggest that this is anything more than an extreme outlier.

If it's a fact that a on average a child abuse case of similar severity would illicit a harsher penalty on a man as oppose to a woman then post evidence corroborating that. Standing alone this article doesn't further that talking point.

I am trying to explain myself. Give me room to talk. You're jumping to a lot of outrageous conclusions as to why I think this is irrelevant. The fact is that this article alone does not prove any point relevant to Men's rights. This subreddit is littered with anecdotal accounts and emotional tirades. I think it's counterproductive the to goals of MRAs to jump at the chance to demonize women sexual predators. It only furthers the image that we hate women without directly proving anything related to the cause. This article in itself does not have anything to do with men being discriminated against. I think this group would have more traction if it kept more to the simple truths of male oppression and less of a place for people to come and rant.

This article most definitely DOES prove MRM points. And again, if you were an MRA you would know that. This article shows the extreme cruelty some women do to children, and up until VERY recently, no one was even willing to admit women do this AT ALL. Thanks to 'irrelevant' articles like this, MRAs have made a stink, and people have been forced to acknowledge it happens.
