This is a pretty disgusting case. Had the police bothered to conduct a real investigation in the first place, then charges shouldn't even have been filed. Prosecutors also waited way too long to finally drop the charges after it was proven that he wasn't guilty of these allegations.

A classic case of authorities rushing to assume guilt and failing to do their jobs properly.

So it seems just another girl who regretted having consensual sex because she was dating someone.

I just love how the police really didn't do an investigation, since the Investigator was able to find photos from the women already had bruises during the contest and the BF had a history of domestic violence. Lets not try to investigate lets just take this girls word for it without any evidence that it was rape.

New investigative technique for sexual crimes if your male. The investigator will take a flower and the first petel your guilty second petel not and so on and so forth until no petels left.

So if this case has cost him 70k, has he lost that or can he claim it back? (In the UK here so not too sure how your justice system works.)
