It really is some solid advice. Is it the nicest or best advice? Not really, but it is true, if they didn't look so different, they wouldn't be picked on. Children are fucking evil, they pick on people for anything, if these boys make themselves a target by dressing differently, it's bound to happen.

I am not saying I think this is how things should be, but in the world we live in, it is the way things are.

Some of those claims about schools seem a bit outlandish, I'm going to need sources to believe a lot of that is commonplace. I have certainly never seen any of that in my schools. It just seems to be written in an overly sensational way that translates to BS on my BS radar. Anyone know where the info is coming from?

Honestly i think it makes sense. Teachers are pretty limited in what they can do to prevent bullying, and they are completely powerless without the parents of the bully's help and attention. So you get a little jerk from a bad family and there isn't much the teach can do to curtail the abuse.

Facing facts, most kids only have two choices, either accept the ridicule or take measures themselves to try and stop it, whether that be punching the bully in the jaw or subscribing to societal norms.
