They seem to be dancing around the issue of the guy being a criminal. Not only did he illegally immigrate to the US and was deported for it, he did it AGAIN - when it would have been a trivial manner to get a temporary visa for legal processes.

The article doesn't have much detail, but it seems that the children are US citizens, not guatamalan citizens, so there's probably red tape to get them into guatamala. But given that the guy is likely a felon, with another pending conviction, I don't think this is a mens rights issue.

this confuses me for a few reasons. first why is it here? i honestly don't see this as a mens rights problem. sure quite afew rights were trampeled here but just because the there's a man as the victim doesn't make it a mensrights issue. i honestly doubt a woman would be treated very much diffrent from the system. though a woman might have caused an uproar from the public i don't know.
second as for the story.... how can this shit even happen? i mean fine deport the guy but fucking give him his children unless there's some good reason not to, like child abuse. otherwise how is this not a state sponsored kidnapping?
