So I'm just curious really; if there was a draft again, all the 18 year old males that had to sign their draft papers upon turning of age would be forced to go to war.
Women are in the military more and more these days. However to my understanding they can't have combat roles even though that term is being used loosely more putting them in more danger. But nonetheless men are burden with warfare itself, even when women vote for it to send males into harm way.
I know its not fair at all, sure women in the American society are conditioned to be damsels in distress but they can equally fight and die in battle just as well with proper training. The Indian and Russian military incorporates women in their armed forces and is effective.
It just doesn't seem fair that me being a male I am forced to put my life on the line when another member of the voting body has no forced burden as such, one that doesn't seem so comparable. Because of this burden as a male I should be entitled to more privileges because as a citizen I fight for my country. While the other gender does not. That type of society norm perpetuates I to be the better citizen, but by law I am not merely an equal.
My question to use MRAs besides being WTF! Should I get more privilege via government over women, maybe like tax codes or the only one to vote, or should women be forced into the same harms way that I am?
What would feminist argue about this? Would they be flavorful to allowing women experience the whole agony of combat as well? Would they support women being drafted as well out of fairness?
