I think what the author is trying to say is that even socons or tradcons still view men as having an obligation to women. They're still enforcing gender roles on men.

While we have hardcore feminism [the kind that gets legislation passed,] and softcore feminism [the kind that rights blogs and vomits ideology,] on the left asking men to do one thing, on the other hand we have these types asking men to do the other. In either case, men are expected something by women.

At least that's what I got out of it. Its a common theme I hear that socon/tradcon types hate men because they "allowed feminism" to happen, and they aren't "real men" if they don't step it up and marry these 30-35 year old harpies with 1.3 kids who've already been divorced 1-2 times.

Feminism is women claiming their rights as equals.

I would disagree with this. Its a superiority movement.
