I just saw this YouTube video regarding a child abuse case.

It is incredibly disturbing.

What I also found disturbing is this statement in the video's description:

The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist.

So now, the woman can just repent, leave and claim emotional abuse? At what point do GROWN WOMEN have to take responsibility for their actions? I could tell that she tried to protect her daughter from the father in parts.

I recognize that people can be manipulated into this kind of behaviour but that does not excuse them from punishment or responsibility.

The father though, holy shit. I got beat as a kid but nothing like this. He seems to have a control problem for sure. I couldn't watch the whole video so I don't know how bad it got.
