I think all officers are in danger, but female officers are probably (can't say definitely, don't have evidence) more at risk physiologically. That said, I have personal experience wherein assault of a female officer is treated as far more serious than assault of a male officer and I don't think that's fair either.

Police safety in general is an issue that seriously needs to be dealt with, for both genders.

I feel sorry for the poor bitch. She's in way over her head - about a foot over her head. Then there are the male cops, who know there aint no way this chick is going to pull her weight. It's like hiring a dwarf as a bodyguard - you spend more time rescuing him than the other way around.
