The article is also kind of unclear if it was the image of a penis in general that was offensive, or if the painting's portrayal of a penis was just really odd. It says they "didn't like the look of" it. Makes me wonder, since casts of ladyparts are pretty explicit, and to then go and call for a fig leaf....

The exhibition series has been the subject of much discussion in Jönköping since the first part opened in October. Ylva Maria Thompson's casts of female genetalia - all one hundred of them - caused outrage when they were revealed.

I wouldn't say this headline is completely fair.
