No all women do not cheat. But with the right combination of events any woman could.

My interpretation of AWALT is "all women, given these situations, will act out in a variety of ways for this reason (hypergamy)".

Not all women cheat. Not all alphas spin plates. Not all women are sluts. Not all alphas are promiscuous.

But when a woman cheats on a guy, hypergamy is the reason -- either her hypergamous instincts are broken because she's a loser, or the man failed her because he's a loser. AWALT doesn't mean slutty, it just means all women have hypergamous instincts.

If she sees you as REALLY high value, she wont do anything that has a 0,0001% chance of screwing up, because she would be SCARED to lose such a high quality man.

Other things that help: having strong morals (very hard to find this on women), having some sort of belief that its wrong and she will be damned or something if she cheats (religion), and having a very strong bond with her partner (so low n-count much better than high n-count)

As was said awalt is a generalzation. After my ex and I had agreed our relationship was dead she actually asked for my permission to start chatting with the guy who is now her husband.

The driving force of hypergamy is female entitlement. Women feel entitled to "have their cake and eat too".

There are many factors that determine entitlement:

Inflated ego. Women that it get hit on constantly tend to perceive their own value as much higher than it actually is.
Patriarchal vs. feminist upbringing. Women with patriarchal backgrounds tend to be way more conservative/repressed sexually, and so typically aren't likely to cheat. That wing said, the generally only date the most generic alpha male army type anyway
social climate ie if everyone around her is hypergamous she'll more likely become hypergamous

The other determinants of whether a woman will cheat include:

Insecurity. Insecure women tend to sleep around a lot, looking for some unattainable happiness
Sexual fulfillment. The less fulfilled she is the more likely she is to cheat

Not all do. However, society has gotten to a point where it is not discouraged, and technology has gotten to the point where it is easy to not get caught. I didn't have my first cell until I was 23, and it was a flip phone. To cheat and get away with it was probably really hard. Also, there wasn't facebook where an old flame can find you and contact you secretly in like 5 minutes. Any girl that is not highly conservative if given enough time in a relationship will likely cheat.
