I believe Kansas was proposing that law...That's all I know about it though, not mandatory anywhere as far as I know.

None at the moment. Tennessee, Kansas, and I believe a few others have tried to get it made into law, but thus far it's been squashed everywhere it's been proposed.

The Kansas law has not yet been squashed but it has been stalled, there was really no amount of opposition from the public though just one blog from some crazy b**ch. Maybe F&F should get involved, but perhaps not to heavy handedly we Kansans can be a bit peevish about outside interference.

Didn't West Virginia also just propose this kind of legislation? Of course, then you'd be living in West Virginia...

State law? It should be Federal... I think every child has a right to know who his natural parents are. No father should EVER be named legally responsible for a child until he's proved to be the father.
