Unfortunately, there's really no way you can prove it. There's the chance she's thrown out the receipt, the needle hole healed, she doesn't have her paperwork.. all that.

There's also the chance that, since she's fairly new to the type of birth control, it won't work as well for a bit. Just in case you really should either wear a condom or have her wear a diaphragm until her next shot- when you go in with her.

As much as I hate to sound like Dr. Phil, this is going to be all about trust. If there are ANY red flags that she might try to trick you into sex without any sort of protection, then you need to either suck it up and wrap it or hold off on sex until you're sure. Condoms suck, but not as much as child support.
