Men's group up in arms against women's quota bill

Maybe I'm dense, but could someone fill me in on what the bill under discussion would do? The article doesn't explain it well. It appears to be some form of an affirmative action bill if I'm correct?

On the one hand it's disheartning to see even a country like India being taken over by manginas and feminists. On the other, they seem to be really progressing in terms of an organized men's movement. In fact, they seem to be streets ahead of us.

Why can't we learn from them? And why do I never see Indian men's rights activists online?

India probably needs this. I'll be downvoted for saying so, but India is not comparable to the 1st world nations most of us live in. Most people on this board are either US citizens, Canadians or Brits...our societies are largely devoid of the sort of misogynist practices still common to India.

Most guys on this reddit view the rest of the world as though its a reflection of wealthy western 1st world nations...and that just isn't so. Men have valid issues with family law (divorce, marriage, kids) in wealthy western 1st world nations, and even have solid ground to stand on in rejecting gender affirmative action (because it worked, and isn't needed anymore). Men in places like India aren't in the same boat, you guys should think twice before trying to compare apples to dinosaurs.
