They are hard to find, but if you look there are shelters that help both men and women who have had to leave abusive relationships.

People often laugh at this scenario because the guy is bigger, and he should be able to pummel the woman, or at least leave. What they forget is that women have the same opportunities. We are not as physically strong, but we can physically leave at anytime, and we also have to ability to use weapons.
