Men get a lot of stick about being the victims of domestic violence... being a pussy, weak, etcetera...

Even I thought it was a bit of a pussy situation to be in.

I thought "What kind of guy can't even take care of himself!?"

Now I know some guys have been brainwashed to not hit women ever - not just in retaliation, but in defence... and that brainwashing has left them wide open to physical and mental abuse.

Then I found out somewhere that says women are X times more likely to use a weapon during violence - and I don't mean cups. I'm on about knives, baseball bats, rolling pins...

Then I got to thinking what it's like living with this kind of women...

You're there, sitting watching TV, then #WHAM#, a bloody bat upside the head. While you're dazed, you get pushed to the floor by this person you thought loves you, and then they stick the boot in a few times.

Once you finally get your shit together, you're hurt - physically, emotionally, mentally... what's the lady of your life behaving like this for?

Should you retaliate? Not likely. Embarrassment, love, feeling things can get better... all working to stop guys reporting it.

So yeah - female violence in the home is FAR wore than I ever gave guys credit for when I first heard about it.

You can say what you want about her 'investigative reporting', but she continues to surprise me by covering important issues on her show. Sure it's annoying when she's all uber-worked up about a cause, like this seasons ANTM where she has only let in short girls, but she's actually the best in (serious) talk shows.
