Authorities said the 41-year-old man repeatedly asked his son on his 15th birthday if he wanted to have sex with a woman, then taunted him when he refused.

Clearly, the kid didn't want it and his dad pressured him into it. I'd say that's abuse, but I also think seven years is a bit much.

Replace the son with a daughter, and the female prostitute with a male prostitute and then it sounds pretty bad.

Not sure why this is submitted under Men's Rights with that headline, btw...this was a form of rape and child abuse against the son. One difference between this and the "teachers who fuck 16 year old students" is that in those cases you are referring to, the students often do consent, which makes it statutory rape instead. 7 years for an abusive parent seems reasonable, especially when you take in account that "The defendant was subject to a minimum prison term of five years due to past felony drug convictions."
