1.Women are winning the battle of the sexes in the workplace and now work in higher profile jobs then men, according to research.

The report author, Dr Robert Blackburn, analysed data on several million European workers using official censuses and labour force surveys.

2.Women now outnumber men in the most high status professions after a "quiet revolution in the workplace", according to a Cambridge University study.

jobs defined as higher status like nursing and teaching

Are these jobs actually "higher status" in the opinion of most people? Compared to what? Landscaping or housecleaning?

Men also tended to be better paid than women because within each occupation, men were generally more senior.

So then the "pay gap" isn't really, since they aren't comparing the same things. God, I wish people would report on statistics in a way that actually conveys real information.

Can I actually see the study done by Cambridge, rather then the interpretation of it from a bunch of journalists?
