Early last year, the media here in Australia was running a torrent of stories about how Covid would result in a “shadow pandemic of violence against women and girls” . Now, this is about Australia & so may not apply to your part of the world. But I suggest you check the media reports on Covid & DV in your locale to see if they are merely based on women from the DV industry surveying each other. If so, I'd be very suspicious.
