The BBC have noticed that someone was left out of the Everyone's Invited discourse over sexual victimisation in schools. Not boys, of course.
The article never once mentions gender or sex. It's a prime example of dog whistling. Children are presented as threat, and teachers as victims, and specifically victims of sexualised insults. This is all painting a very specific picture which doesn't require mention of gender.
They want something done, but they don't say what.
