I feel odd living in this timeline as I'm pretty passionate about men's issues but feel like every time I try to discuss them I'm pushed back by feminists who feel women's issues matter "more" or people who just don't believe men's problems really exist (often men, sadly).

Lately I've noticed a slight influx of attention towards issues men face. It's not a ton, but it's focusing on men's emotional health and that's helpful.

My big question is: does gender advocacy exist on a pendulum? And if so, is that pendulum swinging towards men?

I personally don't believe in a pendulum. I think that men's and women's advocacy are being done by mostly different groups right now, but there's an attitude shift that's willing to accept men's problems as more tangible and real and not ignore them completely in favor of women's. I don't see support for women diminishing, but I do see it changing directions and moving more towards sexuality.
