1 email was all it took - job done. MRAs don't forget activism. Its not just about posting here where everyone agrees with you anyway. MRAs are all over social media correcting bad articles, MRAs have got loads of mainstream e.g. BBC articles, organisation posts etc changed. Simple 2 min activism.

Circumcision is child abuse. Plain and simple. Those who have it done and do it should be charged with a criminal offense and potentially jailed. I don't care if it's for sick twisted religious excuses, sick and twisted aesthetic excuses or totally bogus and racist hygiene excuses.

Yes, absolutely. Just yes. We do a lot of talking and posting here. But we should be doing more of getting out and doing some form of activism and raising awareness, having discussions with those who aren't aware. We should never be intimidated by haters and assholes who judge us and are quick to accuse us of pathetic crap. We need to keep on fighting. The suffragettes and the civil rights activists where constantly shut down and threatened but they got to where we are today because they never gave up the fight. Soon there will be a day where people will understand and be aware of male inequality like they are with women inequality and we will all be together on rising eachother up.

Posting here is good. Especially this sub where I think discussion is usually more productive then main mens rights sub.... however, remember MRA is about activism too. On the main MRA sub I think, and I am a big offender of course, too man low effort posts, or rage posts about feminism. More activism needed, more positive news about men, mens health issues, mens wellbeing stuff needed.

Relatively many people, whether Male Advocates or not, even some feminists, will oppose forced male circumcision. Of course we should give information and opinions in 'neutral' places wherever that makes sense and not just where everybody agrees with us, but not all men's issues are as easy to address as circumcision. A few days ago I already proposed to fix a post on top of this sub about possible strategies to follow in the outside world, to keep that idea alive. I repeat that that would be an important project.

This is great news. Twitter is another good way to give feedback and enact change.

I saw a letter from a state domestic violence program a man posted. He had wanted to provide therapy to abusers but was rejected because his approach was different than the one endorsed by the department. But he didn’t give up and finally got approval. 🙂

Grass roots and individual action can help even when things seem stacked and one sided.

Of course forced circumcision is wrong, but you should all look at the scientific literature about its benefits. Go ahead and down vote me but do look it up if u are at all serious about mens issues.
